First experiment - is it ok to make short posts?

Hi all!

I'm experimenting with steem, read whitepaper, bought some SP's and think its pretty interesting project. 

I have a couple of questions regarding content philosophy.

Is it ok to post short questions in quora-style (or stackoverflow-style)?
Is it ok to post reposts from other websites (like news, updates, interesting stuff, etc)?

In my view, yes absolutely, and yes as long as you give attribution to the original and don't copy excessively (for example you should only post the first paragraph or two of a news article then "Continue reading: [link]")
