Deep Work, the Initial Foundation Must be strong

Deep work, the word has a profound meaning for me. Moreover, I'm slowly building my dream. Initially, I thought that working (in the past) could be a bridge to realizing my dream. But it turns out I was stuck in a routine and wasn't developing, especially in developing my dream.

Long before that happened, I had a dream of owning a media outlet. Like building alternative narratives using existing media. So, what does that have to do with deep work? I'll explain it step by step. Back then, I worked sporadically on my own, without understanding the foundation I needed to build for my dream.

I define deep work in the initial stages as finding the foundation I have. What is my foundation? I was a journalist for about three years. I even hold a young journalist certificate. The knowledge I gained during my time as a journalist is the initial foundation. It prioritizes facts and narrative. So, my foundation for building the media I desire is narrative.

Second, looking for opportunities and details. In the future, I believe technology will become increasingly sophisticated. AI will enter and develop rapidly. Of course, we need to utilize AI for deep work. AI can also be a partner for brainstorming ideas and future work.

Third, I utilize social media. I believe media and technology will continue to develop in the future, especially regarding visuals. For example, videos and photos will attract more attention than lengthy websites. I design, and videos and photos will tell a story.

Third, do I have skills in video and photography? Of course not, but I'm learning. For the past two years, I've been learning about photography and video, which are sold on Shutterstock and other microstock platforms. I'm relatively slow because I lack the skills and tools, but I've ventured to learn openly from several online mentors. There are many online mentors on YouTube about this.

I have approximately 1,700 photos on Shutterstock. For me, that's also my capital for developing the media I desire. On the other hand, I have a nature that wants to implement everything quickly. I realize that building media with a strong foundation is key to working in-depth.

I admit, I still have a long way to go. I can't make it happen anytime soon. Cultivating a strong foundation is essential for building it. In at least two years, I can make his dream a reality. This is a long-term plan and requires careful implementation. That's all I can tell you about the in-depth work involved. See you in the next story.
