This book is the second series of the novel “Millions of Tastes” which was also written by Tere Liye. This book contains a collection of stories with the same background, namely the story of a broken heart. In addition, this book is inspired by the legend in Indonesia, Millions of Tastes. I will tell each story. For the first story, tells about a young woman named Putri. He gets the attention of his college friend named Rio. In addition to attention, Rio often praises Putri if she is good at cooking and baking. Putri thought her friend liked her. Even so, Nana, close friend warned her of Rio's concern. At the same time, Nana is close to Rio. Rio invites Nana to meet her parents. But Rio doesn't introduce his girlfriend, he invites Nana to join Rio's parents' business. She was willing to become a wife to pay for her mother's medical bills and the lives of her siblings. Sie-sie becomes the wife of a young Taiwanese named Wong Lan. But Wong Lan was terrible. Wong Lan had misbehaved since childhood. Starting from lazy school, running at night, getting drunk, gambling and temperamental. It's not uncommon for Lan people to hit home assistants. However, wong Lan's parents gave a will, in which if wong Lan had a wife, wong Lan would be given an inheritance. Wong Lan's wedding to sie-sie is in progress. Wong LAN's bad behavior never changed, it happened to sie-sie. The little guy tries to keep his marriage alive. Until finally Wong Lan fell in love with Sie-sie. She is willing to cancel her marriage to meet another man, whom she thinks is her only true love. However, in the end this woman was abandoned again. This woman begged her ex-boyfriend. However, his ex-girlfriend said he already had a wife. According to his ex-girlfriend, love is not just forgiveness. Pride issues. Love is perfect rationality. The next story, tells about a relationship that his parents did not approve of. Because of the caste difference between the two. It ended tragically, with the death of one of the two. Another heartbreak story is that of Itje and Kang Djalil, a housemaid with a Dutch guard. This is a story with the background of Dutch colonialism. Both, put love under love in Batavia (Jakarta). For both of them, Batavia was not just a place. The seventh story tells us to remember the story of Rama and Sita which ended tragically. Ram does not trust Sita. Rama's love is not built on trust. His father was a minister. This woman who loves the son of a housekeeper. Their second love, grows at an early age and extends into adulthood.
