La hipersensibilidad en los dientes es muy común en muchas personas ciertamente la misma suele estar relacionada a diversas condiciones en el paciente así como también es dada por medio de los canaliculos dentinarios, ya sea por exposición de los mismos o por otros estímulos, vamos a profundizar en este tema conociendo todo lo relacionado a la hipersensibilidad dentinaria cuando hablamos de dental nos referimos al diente en general, cuando es dentinaria nos referimos a la estructura de la dentina que esta debajo del esmalte.

>Hypersensitivity in the teeth is very common in many people, certainly the same is usually related to various conditions in the patient as well as it is also given by means of the dentin canaliculi, either by exposure of the same or by other stimuli, let's delve into this topic knowing everything related to dentin hypersensitivity when we talk about dental we refer to the tooth in general, when it is dentin we refer to the structure of the dentin that is under the enamel.

**¿Cuáles son las condiciones de la hipersensibilidad?**

>**What are the conditions of hypersensitivity?**

Para que pueda ocurrir la sensibilidad dentaria se dará por medio de dos condiciones debe haber exposición de la dentina o alguna lesión apertura de algún sistema de los canaliculos dentinarios, los mismos al estar expuestos pueden generar molestia en la estructura dental.

>For tooth sensitivity to occur, there are two conditions: there must be exposure of the dentine or a lesion or opening of a dentine canaliculus system, which, when exposed, can cause discomfort to the tooth structure.

**¿Cómo se da el desarrollo de la hipersensibilidad dentinaria?**

**How does dentine hypersensitivity develop?**

El desarrollo de la hipersensibilidad estará dado por la presencia o la ausencia de la capa de desecho el grado peritubular de la dentina y la extensión de la oclusión que pueda tener la dentina reparadora en la superficie pulpar.

>The development of hypersensitivity will be determined by the presence or absence of the debris layer, the degree of peritubular dentine and the extent of occlusion that the restorative dentine may have on the pulp surface.

**Tipos de hipersensibilidad dental:**

>Types of dental hypersensitivity

**Hipersensibilidad dentinaria primaria o esencial:**

>Primary or essential dentine hypersensitivity:

Está se refiere a la sensibilidad que va a estar dada por diferentes estímulos térmicos mecánicos o químicos, se va a manifestar un dolor ante estos estímulos, va a estar localizado en los canaliculos dentinarios. Debemos saber que hay ciertos factores que nos permiten tener predisposición cómo lo es el cepillado, el tratamiento ortodóntico, la gingivitis y la placa subgingival.

>This refers to the sensitivity that will be given by different mechanical or chemical thermal stimuli, pain will manifest itself in response to these stimuli, and will be located in the dentinal canaliculi. We should know that there are certain factors that allow us to have a predisposition, such as brushing, orthodontic treatment, gingivitis and subgingival plaque.

**Hipersensibilidad dentaria o secundaria:**

>Dental hypersensitivity or secondary hypersensitivity:

Está se debe a distintas causas diversas y múltiples lleva por nombre secundaria cuando está asociada algún trastorno patología o intervenciones dentaria, ya sea que existió anteriormente sensibilidad o no.

>It is due to a variety of different and multiple causes and is called secondary when it is associated with some pathological disorder or dental interventions, whether or not sensitivity was previously present.

**Estímulos que se van a relacionar con la hipersensibilidad.**

>Stimuli to be associated with hypersensitivity.

Los físicos, son los fríos, el calor,  aire y electricidad, químicos como ácido algunos agentes farmacológicos y también los azúcares. Por último los mecánicos ciertos instrumentos odontológicos pueden ocasionar hipersensibilidad también los ganchos de prótesis y el cepillo dental.

>The physical ones are cold, heat, air and electricity, chemicals such as acid, some pharmacological agents and also sugars. Finally, the mechanical ones are certain dental instruments that can cause hypersensitivity, as well as denture clasps and toothbrushes.

**Tratamiento para tratar la hipersensibilidad dentinal.**

>Treatment to treat dentinal hypersensitivity.

Se debe aplicar un agente desensibilizante ideal, que este va actuar de una manera rápida y no va a producir en irritación pulpar,  se aplica de una manera fácil y rápida no genera dolor es que se coloca sobre la dentina reparativa no causa un cambio de coloración en el diente, tendrá una efectividad  permanente.

>An ideal desensitising agent should be applied, which will act quickly and will not cause pulp irritation, it is applied easily and quickly and does not cause pain as it is placed on the inova dentine or cause a discolouration change in the tooth, it will have a permanent effectiveness.
