Well said. What I find interesting at the moment are the number of writers who have reached a level of experience and/or philosophy that are in essence close to Buddhism (or even Taoism) but without approaching life through that particular religion.

I am currently reading Buckminster Fuller, who ha much to say about perceiving life clearly, decentralisation and the quest for human life worth living. 

If Dante's Hell was signposted with "Abandon all hope" then perhaps Heaven should have had "Abandon all faith" followed by "and see clearly".

When you're more aware of the way you think, you can take action to use positive situations to your advantage, and re-shape the negative ones. The goal is to think positively, regardless of the situation, and make a conscious effort to see opportunities instead of obstacles.

It is natural, healthy and honest thinking that people will have thoughts on the mind of the wise However, the problem is only when it is anxiety, when the risk of failure and risk is born - tension, tension, headache, hand-shaking, sweat, stomach molasses, and so on. . . . ! The healthy and good thoughts are good for us, the contrast is equally harmful for our body and mind.

There are 2 tools, that can help people on the path to remember their nondual nature.
The first is, to let go the need to know which duality you are - not defining if your thoughts are positive or negative, but most of all, not trying to find out what you are in dual categories. The need to know and define yourself, is inert in the dualistic mind and this can be a worthwhile exercise to let this need to know go.
The second is, what Tim Freke calls "paralogical thinking" - becoming more and more familiar with the notion, that reality (and what you think about it) is always both - positive and negative - and even if for the logical mind it seems as if it can only be the one way and not the other. This can be done by replacing all "OR" statements with "AND". The word "and" works like an antidote to the dualistic mind.
Besides that, light for me is not the opposite of dark. Dark for me means unconscious and it's opposite is conscious/aware. Light has no opposites, since it is already the transcended state. So unconscious light is called darkness and conscious light means Awareness. Light (as in en-light-enment) for me is a description of nondual realization that is nothing and everything at the same time. Cheers and thank you! 🙏

Dear @nomad-magus... I will always say that positivity has great impact instead of negativity. Positive thinking makes your mind clear from all worries while negative mind always create unrealistic situations.
So I will never go to the dark but to light...

*That's absolutely right and i really agree with your words as let your thoughts flow without judging negative and positive, and the thoughts are not yours it's transformed from others and negative and positive thoughts are misconceptions, yes all these are really true to great extent not to full extent because we cannot judge the thought process to it's entirety. So never restrict your thoughts and don't sub categorise your vast subject of thoughts in positive and negative instead let it flow and you live your life in flow because your thoughts are not reality but they are exploration of reality so let your thoughts fly. Good people or bad people who classifies them. Its we the humans,  ourselves. What we do personally whether we are right or wrong mostly we feel it to be right but it may not be true with others. Maybe for others its all wrong and there msybe even few for whom its right... So basically its all within the  humans that how they take it... Also finding a balance neither being too optimist nor being too negative is whst can help us dwell. Anyways always be on slightly optimist side because either you win or you learn.

I have always loved your positive approach and it is appreciable.
I particularly loved this one, "An approach to life that addresses both sides of the experience brings the inner peace and the balance that prepare the ground for your enlightenment".

I am myself an optimist so i understand the beauty of the positivity well

Well said, my fellow Steemian, I was speechless for a couple minutes. I have never truly researched or gave too much thought to balance as a way of life but I always loved to talk about yin-yang, the balance of our emotions, our food, activity etc.  and how everything happens for a reason and everything as is, we can not change the action but we can control our reaction. :) That is how we become we, you are you and I am I. The more I read from you the more I want to read the next one thank you for that!

In this realm of our existence, the realities of good and bad cannot be overlooked. All things work together for good to those who love God, quoting from the scroptures. positive thinking and negative thinking both are necessary to survive in this world. Positive thinking is a good thing but we in some cases we have to think its negative way ... keep equality between them. and this is very good post thanks for posting like this.

The trick is finding the balance between being optimistic and being realistic.
Someone rightly said: Stop and smell the roses, but first check for dog poop on the sidewalk beneath your feet.

Positive thinking is more than just a tagline. It changes the way we behave. And I firmly believe that when I am positive, it not only makes me better, but it also makes those around me better.

Don't you think that accepting the "bad" and "good" things in our life is sort of a positive thinking?
