Street Griot Fables

We’ve been on the Hero’s Journey much longer than we present. The quest has been much like today’s fable. It’s what We call a “One Trick” Episode. Just one segment today. But back to the adventure.

We wonder how many times we thought that we knew all that there is to know, until we started learning about a particular subject. We become “smarter” (whatever that means) when we admit to being “smartless” which allows for more information to enter and be processed.

Here’s a “secret” that we are not exactly certain is “true.” From the Book of Hermes, (paraphrasing) all truths are half truths. All truths are paradoxes. When you get to the end of the line, you find that you have gone around in a circle. 

Everything is everything. That’s one half of this truth. Nothing is nothing. The other half. An apparent paradox. The paradox “proves” the truth, and while Brain has attempted, in vain, to debunk this truth, It has yet been unsuccessful.

Today’s fable could be You, someone you know, someone you’ve heard of. Your humble vagabond has been there – so to speak – which is why we live the Nu Liphe Style we are enjoying today. With the caveat that “this too shall pass.”
