It was a great many days,
Where one didn't have to worry about pay,
Great rises since May,
We're on the moon they say,
Making money on coins seemed like child's play,
Little did we know the sky to turn gray,
All seemed happy, all seemed gay

YouTubers would lend, many would spend,
They made many a subscriber, they made many a friend,
Up and up was always the trend,
Reality was euphoric, reality would bend

It seemed it could last forever,
Such rises are seen never,
Scam artists thought themselves clever,
The head of the pyramid would soon be severed

One day we awoke to fear running amok,
Countries listing exchanges they block,
As the prices went down by the tick of the clock,
The ship of crypto was sinking at the dock

Traditional finance began to mock,
Panic sellers began to flock,
Mindless banter the laymen would talk,
Institutions meanwhile increase their stock

The fears, and emotions are still to be spent,
Euphoria is gone, reality has bent,
BitConnect supporters struggling to pay rent,
Where has the time gone? Where has the bull went?

Much time will pass until all is amend,
The masses will cry, banks will pend,
More scams will fall, more scams will end,
In this world there are still many who mispend,
For now we ride this downtrend

They thought:
Genius I am when I look at the charts,
My analysis is the best, it is many worlds apart,
I have hopes and dreams and will never work at a mart,
I'll go to the moon as fast as a dart

Today many of them are pushing a cart,
Their ego which once was, has been torn apart,

Understand their investment they did not,
Greedy they were, riches they sought
Blinded they were, never were they taught
The bottom of the abyss was the spot,
Where they sold their coins, money to rot

Make no mistake, the sun will rise,
Hodlers that held, sellers will despise

As things go up many will sigh,
"I wish I didn't sell" many will cry, 
While pushing a cart under a watchful eye,
Buy back in they'll certainly try,
A game of nickels, they'll roll the die

And again the cycle may continue and they may lose it all,
A hodler that held will stand tall,
There will be rises, there will be falls,
This story hasn't ended yet, 
Crypto hasn't given its all
