Crepusculares colores, pintan huidizas nubes
Ojos pardos que divisan, el arribo de la noche
Cómo podría describir, tus abrazos amorosos
Lo dulce de tus canciones, y tú voz de sonatina
Eres altiva y bonita, de una elegancia heredada
Pensamientos de princesa, donaires de bella dama
Andar de mujer coqueta, y de muy finos modales
Cascada blanca escarchada, sobre tus hombros reposa
Eres diosa, eres guerrera, mi gran “Palas Atenea”
Jamás encorvas tu tronco, nunca, nada te doblega
Marcas, huellas al andar, imborrables y profundas
Me pregunto cómo puedo, describirte en un poema
Si, como dice el poeta, “ese poema eres tú”
Mi musa de los abriles, del otoño y primavera
Ahora que llega el invierno, necesitaré tu abrigo
Aquel calor que en otrora, me brindaste cuando niña
Me conformo con saberte, grande, sana y poderosa
Quedo a la espera de ti, mi jardinera ejemplar
De aquel rosedal hermoso que con amor cultivaste
A tu lado está una flor, que resguarda tus ramajes
Que muy celosa te cuida, que te ama y se desvive
Yo tan solo te describo, te visito entre mis sueños
Cómo crees que podría, con estas cuatro palabras
Describirte diosa hermosa, palmo a palmo sin errar
Solo te escribí un poema, mi parecer nada más.***

How could I describe, your loving embrace
The sweetness of your songs, and your sonatina voice
You are haughty and pretty, of an inherited elegance
Thoughts of a princess, and gifts of a fair lady
The gait of a flirtatious woman, and of very fine manners
White and icy waterfall, rests on your shoulders
You are a goddess, you are a warrior, my great "Pallas Athena".
You never bow your trunk, never, nothing bows you down
Marks, footprints as you walk, indelible and deep
I wonder how I can describe you in a poem.
If, as the poet says, "that poem is you".
My muse of the years, autumn and spring
