# On Waves Platform 
_And some extra surprise to the lucky few..._ 

## Only 1997 
**The DOTCOM asset is a token that has been created on [the Waves DEX {Decentralized EXchange} Platform](https://beta.wavesplatform.com). Just like the TULIP asset refers to the mentioning of the Tulip Bulb Mania of 1637, DOTCOM refers to the mentioning of the DotCom bubble, that began in 1997. The year the parent of Bitcoin saw the light of day, it was called HashCash, created by mister Adam Back, currently involved with the developement of Bitcoin itself. HashCash was a kind of digital stamp added to email, preventing SPAM by the use of Proof Of Work {POW} mining. And the rest is history. Just like the so called supposed Tulip Bulb Mania and DotCom bubbles. What those have proved though is that mentioning a bubble, like the bank debt bubble, does not mean it is the end. Even though we do seem to get the impression through mainstream media it is: "Oh noooo, it is a bubble...! It is going to burst!" Still, the debt mountain is still amongst us and seems to worsen over the years.** 

So, never mind that, the DotCom still is a booming business and Tulips are an excellent product, total market capacity is measured in trillions. But from a marketing point of view we are looking at some free advertising here. Because every time a bubble is mentioned, being it TULIP or DOTCOM, there is a chance to use this to our advantage. That is why I created these Assets on the Waves DEX platform, as it is almost impossible to buy this kind of free advertising! Mention those name 6 times and people will just recognize it. What better way to market a product, if it is done on such a massive scale. Have famous persons say it on mainstream, over and over again. There is no negative advertising, just look at products like dish washing products like ultra liquid. Or washingh powder commercials, not the most liked ones, but that is the trick. Did they annoy you? Good, you have been sold a product brandname. And when you buy it, at some point you might has stated it like: "Yeah their commercials are horrible, but I have to admit, it is a really good product." 

Now mainstream, bankers and politicians whining about Cryptos was just the thing I was looking for. In an _Aikido_ way, where you use the energy of an attacker against itself, as an effective defense. All that free _advertising_ about TULIP and DOTCOM connected to Cryptos, now that would be great to use in an _Aikido_ kind of way. There is not bad commercial, the best ones probably annoy you the most and that is one of the best ways to have people remember stuff. And after the handout of TULIP it is not time for another freebee: the DOTCOM asset token. Again one DOTCOM is build of from a 1000 milli, just like the TULIP. But instead of thew 1637 TULIP there will be 1997 DOTCOM. It will be very rare, because there are only 1'997'000 milli DOTCOM. And these will be handed out through an _AirDrop_. Which basicly means that those who participated in the free TULIP handout will receive gratis DOTCOM and some extra... Just like with the TULIP handout. So, no need to reply with a WAVE address this time, because the Assets will be send to all the previous participaters. 

And now let us hope that there will be a lot of free advertising for the TULIP and DOTCOM asset tokens again...
