# Just a future prediction **It will be great in addition with Bitshares, Peerplays and Steem. All blockchains that matter will be fast like 1-2-3. Bitcontracts will be the next diamond in the basket.** No need to mention others. Anything that cannot do tens of thousand operations a second does not matter. If it can not scale even beyond that, forget it. The rest needs to be extremely expensive, that might have its use. But nothing can beat low cost efficiency like that of 1-2-3. Glad to know you do appreciate it @bleujay. Bitcontracts is a fictive name I gave this expected future developement of a Smartcontract platform. It will be based on the same kind of technology as Bitshares, Steem and Peerplays. Daniel Larimer announced his idea for this platform a while ago to the Steem community. And I saw a post today that gave me a thought that there really is something already being build. And as it will be using the same kind of blockchain technique that Bitshares, Steem and Peerplays uses, it will outrun any other system, it is part of the 3-2-1-BLOCK family. It will be exciting to see this one being developed. This one will sure shake up the crypto realm. At least that is what I think. In my humble opinion I think a lot in the crypto world still underestimate the amazing power of the blockchain technology that is boosting Bitshares, Peerplays and Steem. It will be very hard to deny it further when Bitcontracts comes to life. All the best to you and yours in return, it is always a pleasure to conversate with you. Abientotlater!
