**Location:** Trothguard, on the Sea of Angels. 

**Player Character:** Unknown vessel/unknown captain.

> Dredge is an exploration-based journaling RPG and was something I immediately thought would be a neat aid to my own worldbuilding - as I could use the game as prompts to create a story for a character that could be part of my world.

*Day 2*

We were still by the time I woke. I could tell even before I emerged onto the deck that it was going to be bad... and it was.

The water for as far as I could see, in every direction, was full of blood. Red froth and bits of thankfully unidentifiable meat and fat bobbed upon the small waves. The smell was horrible, and the sense of dread I felt the entire time was oppressive. 

We spent fairly little time sitting in that spot, which was a blessing... but even so it was dark before we weren't surrounded by the blood. 

I worry that this is an omen.
