Even the normies are getting in

I had a conversation yesterday with an old buddy from highschool who was asking me for some advice on a budget gaming PC. 

We got to joking around about buying peripherals like the Scorpion Gaming Chair and I joked that if my crypto bags really took off I'd finally have enough wiggle room to justify a $5000-ish price tag on the damn thing.

Which is when he told me that he had dived in a while back and invested $300 into Bitcoin and was happily sitting on $1000 now.

This came as a surprise as he's not exactly the kind of guy I'd expect to dive into crypto. He's not much of a computer guy, and doesn't really care about investments but here he is with a stack of sats.

The same day I found out that one of my previously anti-crypto co-workers had snagged a Ledger a year ago and has been steadily pumping his bags when he can. 

Which conforms with what a lot of us already knew: average folks ARE getting into crypto. Adoption is happening. 

The 100k estimates for BTC this year feel easily achievable, and I'm privately wondering if the hyper maxi chants of 1-mil per coin aren't going to end up being blown out of the water in the years to come. 

Either way, whatever happens, it's going to be an interesting cycle!
