Today was a very pleasant day, the sun was mild and a bit warm, I decided to take a walk in the woods, I had the opportunity to see the first flowers announcing the arrival of spring,snowdrop.


Spring is approaching.  It is felt at every step.  The intoxicating scent of spring flowers spreads through the air.

snowdrops have long been known as a flower that heralds the arrival of spring,people perceive them as the first flower to appear after winter.


Snowdrops, comes from the Greek words gala and anthos (Galanthus).
The word (GALA) which means milk and the words (AHTXOC) which means flower, therefore milk flowers.

This flower usually grows wild in permanent places in deciduous forests on meadows, by rivers, along streams.

The leaves are oblong, green.  A flower stalk rises from its bulb, on top of which is only one hanging bell-shaped white flower.  The flower consists of six petals arranged in two circles,their smell is mild.

This beautiful spring flower adorns the forest and announces spring, so everyone is happy when they see it, today I was really happy, I think that the cold winter is leaving us and that spring is very close to us.

The trees are not green, it is still early, but it is adorned with a kind of evergreen that wraps itself around tall old trees.

the rivers are no longer frozen, the murmur of flowing water is heard.
