Dear gardening lovers, the first figs in my garden arrive and ripen, extremely large, juicy and sweet, and also very healthy.
It is estimated that there are 800 species of plants belonging to the Moraceae family. The most famous species is the common fig, which I also grow in my garden, today it is grown in all the warmer parts of the globe.
The miraculous plant originates from Mesopotamia, and in Egypt it was considered to be the favorite fruit of Cleopatra, so it reached the Mediterranean and today it is grown all over the world where the climates are suitable for its cultivation.
The fig is a deciduous tree, with branched canopies, the leaves are large and dark green, irregular and interesting in shape. The flower is pear-shaped, from which the fruit later develops.
Juicy fruit with many seeds that ripen in summer until late autumn. The fruit is sweet, fleshy, yellowish in color.
Figs are eaten fresh, canned or dried. They are used in the food industry for the production of stuffed biscuits and jams. In addition to being used in the diet, fig has long been known as a medicinal plant that has been used since the beginning of civilization.

In my garden, this year they are rich in delicious and sweet fruits, this year the climate suited them, they are well-known plants that tolerate drought, and this year the summer is really warm without rain. All in all, I will sweeten with organic fruit from my garden.
