Shadow Hunters Contest Round 185

Dinner is over, the cleared table looks almost bare and sad now that no one is there. The dark, cool night resounds with the song of cicadas, two candle-shaped bulbs illuminate the veranda. Sinuous shadows stretch out, deforming the original dimensions, the heavy iron chairs assume slender and light shapes. The shadows weave and overlap, some are lighter others denser and darker. The imagination runs, the shapes take on the appearance of monsters with a hundred eyes.

La cena è terminata, la tavola sparecchiata sembra quasi nuda e triste ora che non c'e più nessuno. La notte buia e fresca risuona del canto delle cicale, due lampadine a forma di candela illuminano la veranda. Si allungano ombre sinuose che deformano dimensioni originali, le pesanti sedie di ferro assumono forme slanciate e leggere. Le ombre si intrecciano e sovrappongono, alcune sono più chiare altre più dense e scure. L'immaginazione galoppa, le forme prendono le sembianze di mostri dai cento occhi.
