Issue #357 highlights content from ` ten (10) ` Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

####  <center>Our top nomination of the day is from @dansgardening</center>
<center>Dan joined us on Steem in February and has been sharing his love for gardening and birdwatching. Gardening has taken quite a bit of his time lately since it was very important to get everything in the ground and planted in time. In this post he walks us through the potato planting and growing process. Did you know, you don’t need the whole potato as a seed, but you can cut it into smaller pieces and they will still grow? @dansgardening you will find a lot about gardening, planting and so much more! </center>

<center>This is a really neat write up on The Sims 4: Get Famous game (and its expansion pack)! The author narrates the path on how to get rich and famous in the game through her sim character, Lucy Lovesong, and she goes from being a nobody to being a somebody at the end :smiley: It's amazing to learn that being a superstar is actually a lot of work even in a gaming format :smile: I like the write up to this post, specially how personal it is, with a lot of in-game screen shots from their own run through of the game :smiley: If you ever played The Sims or maybe you're finally at the stage in your life where you're interested to find out more about this franchise of a game, this is a great post to check out :)</center>

<center>The portrait is about a woman with many mushrooms grows out of the body. The purple mushrooms look like candies which make the elegant queen look cute.
@francisftlp painted this portrait on a tablet. The process of digital painting is a little bit different from traditional painting. You can learn her drawing skill on a tablet from the process she shares with us.</center>

####  <center>Our next nomination of the day is from @travelsbyblue</center>
<center>April and May are the festival months in Philippines and @travelsbyblue went to the Pasyahan Festival recently.  The highlight of the festival is the Grand Parade which includes the Carnival Queen presentation and various competitions.   @travelsbyblue took part in the Photography competition.  The competition was open to professionals and amateurs and she was up against 100 other photographers.  Each person was allowed to submit three entries. Our very own Steemian did us proud as she was one of the seven runner ups amongst the 300 photos. Well done!</center>

Often writing about photography and traveling it's a joy to read their current post where Small thinks back on her time in Thailand, Chiang Mai. Some shots of the Kayan Village are her favourite, but in colour, and for the BD Community Photo Challenge she decided to convert them to black & white - it worked out well! </center>

####  <center>Our next nomination of the day is from @growingupvillage</center>
<center>@growingupvillage is a new user who is going to give us a look at homesteading in Alaska. In this video the share some of the amazing views from a local beach where there is tons of driftwood as far as the eye can see, and beyond. Like any good homesteader though, they make good use of it when building their hugel mounds on the homestead. (See their intro post for details.) It will be interesting to watch their future post to see how they might have to adjust some things to adapt for the Alaskan climate.</center>
