Who will continue on development when there is no steemit,inc?

Despite the fact we are slowly taking governance into our hands , one question remains open. Who has the expertise and knowledge to continue on developing the chain?

As far as I'm consirned vanderberg was really talented individual along with gerbino. Now when they resigned from steemit i'm afradit we lost really valuable devs and will be pretty hard to replace them in the near future. It may slow down further development which ain't an outcome we were looking for. 

On a further note, andrarchy and roadscape are to be considered as relevant and they resigned from steemit as well. Not sure if theres anything we can do to bring em back.

We don't want andrarchy back, that dude did squat for us except cash out sock puppets.

The sps is for paying the Devs.
Nondevs should support the SBD price to support development.

exactly... will decentralized development work? It might (e.g., steempeak etc.) , but I also have my doubts... Who will work now on SMTs when they were so close to going live?

I hope we will somehow utilize sps for such actions, however i dont think we have enough funds to sustain bigger changes. The only thing that might save us is either bull run or altrusim.
