Today is Thursday, April 11, and like every Thursday I have a nice and recurring posting task here on Hive: The **Olio di Balena-Inleo Weekend Threading Contest**.

The Olio di Balena - Inleo weekend threading contest is the result of a collaboration between the **Olio di Balena** and **InLeo** communities and has a **double objective**:
- **create a moment of interaction and sharing** among the users of Olio di Balena
- raise knowledge of a useful tool created by [Inleo](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-what-is-leofinance) for [Hive](https://inleo.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-what-is-hive) communities: the **Community Threads**

Participating in the **Olio di Balena - InLeo Weekend Threading Contest** is very simple and in this post you will find everything you need to quickly understand how to participate:

# Contest Rules

- ## **Rule 1:** 
You must **create a Thread** within the Olio di Balena community = a thread with tag #**oliodibalena**.

- ## **Rule 2:**
Write a community thread and answer the question: **What is your annual accumulation goal for your Hive Power? Post a screenshot of your Hive Wallet in your thread** 

- ## **Rule 3:** 
- **Your thread must also contain 1 photo or 1 image or 1 screenshot** related to the topic of the contest. The photo/image must be your own, it can be a photo/image you have in your photo archive but you cannot use a photo taken from the web even if it is copyright free and you cannot use AI generated photos.
- **Threads containing only a photo or only text will not be considered**.

- ## **Rule 4:** 
you can choose to write your thread in **Italian** language or **English** language or both.

- ## **Rule 5:** 
you must be a member of the [Olio di Balena](https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620) community.

# Contest Prizes

- **Interaction Prizes**: **10 LEO** for each of the authors of the **5 Threads** that receive the most comments (prizes offered by Inleo)
**IMPORTANT NOTE**: If the contest will have 4 or fewer entries, LEO prizes will not be awarded. Instead, prizes in HBD will always be awarded.

- **Prizes awarded by drawing**: **3 Threads** will be chosen randomly and win **1 [HBD](https://inleo.io/@crypto-guides/what-are-hive-backed-dollars-hbd)** each (prizes offered by the Olio di Balena community)

- The best threads may also have a chance to be voted by Inleo

- **Consolation Prize**: **For every 5 participants I will add a prize of 1 LEO** that I will award by drawing to participants who did not receive one of the previous two prizes..

- **Important Note**: **max 1 prize per participant!**
In each contest I will award the most valuable prize between 10 LEOs and 1 HBD first. Those who received the highest value prize will be excluded from awarding the other prizes.
More winners = more incentive and fun for participants!

The **total prizepool of this week's mini contest** has a total value = 50 LEO (=16.50 HIVE) + 3 HBD (= 9.18 HIVE) = 25.69 HIVE = **$8.11** + a variable prize in LEO depending on the number of participants (+1 LEO for every 5 participants).

# How to Create a Thread in Olio di Balena
## (Step-by-step guide)

A **[Thread](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/loeglossary-threads)** is a Twitter-style post created and stored on the Hive blockchain through the use of the **[Inleo User Interface (UI)](https://inleo.io/)**

A **Community Thread** is a [thread](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/loeglossary-threads) posted within a Hive community and viewable within the **Communities->"Community Name"->Threads** section of the Inleo UI.

Olio di Balena community threads can be created and viewed within the **Threads** section of the page: https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620
A thread is viewable in the Olio di Balena community if it contains the tag #oliodibalena

**Creating a Community Thread is a very simple task** and I will show you the **steps** to follow.

### Step 1: Login to Inleo.

- **Step 1.1**: You have to go to https://inleo.io/ and then you have to click on **Log in**

- **Step 1.2**: On the next screen you have several log in options to choose from including: LeoAuth, QR Code, Hivesigner, Hive Keychain

- **Log in with Hive KeyChain**: You have to enter your **Hive username**, then you have to click on **Log in** and then you have to click on **Confirm** within the **Hive Keychain** screen.

- Log in with **LeoAuth:** You have to enter your **Hive username**, your **Posting Key** and then you have to click on **Log in**.

### Step 2: Enter the Home Page of the Olio di Balena.

- **Step 2.1**: You need to click on **Communities**.
- **Step 2.2**: You must enter "Olio di Balena" or part of the name in the search field.
- **Step 2.3**: You must click on the box that contains the logo and name of Olio di Balena

- **Alternative Step 2:** you need to go directly to the link: https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620

## Step 3: Create and post the Contest Participation Thread.

- **Step 3.1**: Within the Home Page of Olio di Balena you need to click on **Threads**
- **Step 3.2**: Then you need to enter the text of your thread in the box that contains the #oliodibalena tag
- **Step 3.3**: Then you need to click on **Thread** in the bottom right corner.

Now all you have to do is participate in this nice mini contest ;)

**Advice:** If the text of your thread exceeds the maximum capacity of a single thread you can also write a **threadstorm**.
In this case only in the first thread you have to insert:
- the tag **oliodibalena**
- the tag **threadstorm**
- the **1/x** indication where x is the number of threads your threadstorm contains.

**All other threads after the first one you must enter them as comments to your first thread** indicating for each thread the number of the tread such as 2/5, 3/5, ... 5/5

# The Participants and the Announcement of the Winners of the 32th edition of the Weekend Contest (April 11, 2024 - April 15, 2024)

There are four options for viewing threads with the #oildibalena tag:
- **Option 1**: you have to go to https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620 and then click on Threads.
- **Option 2**: you have to go to https://inleo.io/threads/tag/oliodibalena 
- **Option 3**: you have to go to https://labs.inleo.io/threads/tag/oliodibalena
- **Option 4**: you can use the Search threads feature where you have to enter the tag oliodibalena without the # symbol

To view all the threads of the hivers who participated in the contest, I used the Search threads function (option 4) because there are still problems viewing using the more comfortable search by tag (option 3).

After the record number of participants in contest number 31 (21 participants), there was a drop in contest number 32 because there were only **9 participants**.

Now comes the **most pleasant moment** of the weekend threading contest: **awarding prizes to participants!**

According to the new prize awarding mechanism that is active starting with contest number 30 **I will award the most valuable prizes first through a value comparison between 10 LEO and 1 HBD**.

Today April 18, 2024:
- 10 LEO = 3.30 SWAP.HIVE = $1.04 (highest bid value on Hive Engine)
- 1 HBD = 3.06 HIVE = $0.96 (Hive internal market)

So I first proceed to assign the 10 LEO token prizes.

For **prizes in LEO tokens** the **interaction** = the number of comments received is important.

Unfortunately, for prizes I cannot consider @ijebest because his thread contains no pictures (contest rule 3).

In the screenshot below you can see the 8 transfers I made today for a total of 50 LEO distributed.

# Regole per partecipare

- ## **Regola 1:** 
Devi creare un Thread all'interno della comunità di **Olio di Balena** = il tuo thread deve avere il **tag #oliodibalena**

- ## **Regola 2:**
Scrivi un community thread in cui rispondi alla domanda: **Qual'è il tuo obbiettivo di accumulo annuale per il tuo Hive Power? Inserisci nel tuo thread uno screenshot del tuo Hive Wallet** 

- ## **Regola 3:** 
- **Il tuo thread deve contenere anche 1 foto o 1 immagine o 1 screenshot**
- Inserisci una foto/immagine/screenshot inerente all'argomento del contest. La foto/immagine deve essere tua, può essere una foto/immagine che hai nel tuo archivio fotografico ma non puoi utilizzare una foto presa dal web anche se è senza copyright e non puoi utilizzare foto generate da AI.
- **I threads contenenti solo una foto/immagine o solo testo non saranno presi in considerazione**.

- ## **Regola 4:**
Puoi scegliere di scrivere il tuo thread in lingua italiana o in lingua inglese o in entrambe le lingue.

# I Premi del Mini Contest

- **Premio Interazione**: **10 LEO** per ognuno degli autori dei **5 Threads** che ricevono il maggior numero di commenti (premi offerti da Inleo)
**NOTA IMPORTANTE**: Se il contest avrà un numero di partecipazioni uguale o inferiore a 4, i premi in LEO non saranno assegnati. Verranno invece sempre assegnati i premi in HBD.

- **Premio assegnato per estrazione**: **3 Threads** saranno scelti in modo casuale e vinceranno **1 HBD** ognuno (premi offerti dalla comunità di Olio di Balena)

- I thread più belli potrebbero avere anche una chance di essere votati da Inleo

- **Premio di consolazione**: Per ogni 5 partecipanti aggiungerò un premio di **1 LEO** che assegnerò tramite estrazione ai partecipanti che non hanno ricevuto uno dei due precedenti premi.

- **Nota Importante**: **max 1 premio per partecipante!**
In ogni contest assegnerò prima il premio di maggior valore tra 10 LEO e 1 HBD. Chi ha ricevuto il premio di maggior valore sarà escluso dall'assegnazione degli altri premi.

Il **montepremi complessivo del mini contest** di questa settimana ha un **valore totale** = 50 LEO (=16.50 HIVE) + 3 HBD (= 9.18 HIVE) = 25.69 HIVE = **8.11$** + un premio variabile in LEO in base al numero dei partecipanti (+1 LEO per ogni 5 partecipanti).

# Come Creare un thread nella comunità di Olio di Balena
## (Guida passo passo)

Un **Thread** è un post Twitter-style creato e memorizzato sulla blockchain di Hive tramite l'utilizzo della **Inleo User Interface (UI)**

Un **Community Thread** è un thread pubblicato all'interno di una comunità di Hive e visualizzabile all'interno della sezione **Communities->"Nome Comunità"->Threads** della Inleo UI.

I Community threads della comunità di Olio di Balena possono essere creati e visualizzati nella sezione **Threads** della  pagina: https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620
**Nota Importante:** Un thread è visualizzabile nella comunità di Olio di Balena se contiene il tag #oliodibalena

**Creare un Community Thread è un'operazione molto semplice** e ti mostro i passi da seguire.

### Passo 1: Login su InLeo

- **Passo 1.1**: Devi andare su https://inleo.io/ e poi devi cliccare su **Log in**

- **Passo 1.2**: Nella schermata successiva hai diverse opzioni di log in tra cui scegliere tra cui: LeoAuth, QR Code, Hivesigner, Hive Keychain

- **Log in con Hive KeyChain**: Devi inserire il tuo **Hive username**, poi devi cliccare su **Log in** e poi devi cliccare su **Confirm** all'interno della schermata di **Hive Keychain**.

- **LeoAuth:** Devi inserire il tuo **Hive username**, la tua **Posting Key** e poi devi cliccare su **Log in**.

### Passo 2: Entrare nella Home Page della comunità di Olio di Balena

- **Passo 2.1**: Devi cliccare su Communities
- **Passo 2.2**: Devi inserire nel campo di ricerca "Olio di Balena" o parte del nome.
- **Passo 2.3**: Devi cliccare sul riquadro che contiene il logo e il nome di Olio di Balena

- **Passo 2 alternativo:** devi andare direttamente al link: https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620

## Passo 3: Creare e pubblicare il Thread di partecipazione al mini contest.

- **Passo 3.1**: All'interno della [Home Page](https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620) di Olio di Balena devi cliccare su **Threads**
- **Passo 3.2**: Poi devi inserire il testo del tuo thread nel riquadro che contiene il tag #oliodibalena
- **Passo 3.3**: Poi devi cliccare su **Thread** in basso a destra.

#### <center>Operazione completata! Facile vero? ;)</center>

Adesso non devi fare altro che partecipare a questo bel mini contest ;)

**Consiglio:** Se il testo del tuo thread è superiore alla capienza massima di un singolo thread puoi anche scrivere un **threadstorm**= 1 Thread + 1 fino a x commenti al primo thread.
In questo caso:
1. Nel primo thread devi inserire due tag:
- il tag **oliodibalena**
- il tag **threadstorm**
- l'indicazione 1/x dove x è il numero delle parti (threads) che contiene il tuo threadstorm.

2. **Tutti gli altri threads devi inserirli come commenti al tuo primo thread** indicando per ogni thread il numero del tread come ad esempio 2/5, 3/5, ... 5/5

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il threadstorm (composto da 1 thread + 3 commenti al mio thread) che ho creato io per il contest Odb-Inleo di qualche settimana fa.

# I Partecipanti e l'Annuncio dei Vincitori dell'Edizione 32 del Contest (11 aprile 2024 - 15 aprile 2024)

Ci sono quattro possibilità/opzioni per visualizzare i threads con il tag #oliodibalena:
- **Opzione 1**: devi andare su https://inleo.io/communities/hive-146620 e poi cliccare su Threads
- **Opzione 2**: devi andare su https://inleo.io/threads/tag/oliodibalena 
- **Opzione 3**: devi andare su https://labs.inleo.io/threads/tag/oliodibalena
- **Opzione 4**: puoi utilizzare la funzione **Search threads** in cui devi inserire il tag oliodibalena senza il simbolo #

Per visualizzare tutti i threads degli hivers che hanno partecipato al contest ho utilizzato la funzione Search threads (opzione 4) perchè ci sono ancora dei problemi di visualizzazione usando la più comoda ricerca per tag (opzione 3).

Dopo il record di partecipanti nel contest numero 31 (21 partecipanti), nel contest numero 32 c'è stato un calo perchè ci sono stati solo 9 partecipanti.

Adesso è arrivato il **momento più piacevole** del weekend threading contest: **assegnare i premi ai partecipanti!**


In base al nuovo meccanismo di assegnazione dei premi che è attivo a partire dal contest numero 30 **assegnerò prima i premi di maggior valore tramite un confronto di valore tra 10 LEO e 1 HBD**.


Oggi 18 aprile 2024:
- 10 LEO = 3.30 SWAP.HIVE = 1.04$ (highest bid value su Hive Engine)
- 1 HBD = 3.06 HIVE = 0.96$ (Hive internal market)

Procedo quindi prima all'assegnazione dei 5 premi da 10 LEO.


Per i **premi in token LEO** è importante l'**interazione** = il numero di commenti ricevuti.


Nell'elenco seguente puoi vedere tutti i partecipanti ordinati in base al numero di commenti ricevuti.

Purtroppo per i premi non posso considerare @ijebest perchè il suo thread non contiene immagini (regola 3 del contest).

Everyone has goals in life which can be classified into different categories.


For me, I wrote down what my Hive goals are and how I have been looking for ways to reach my goal.


Talking about my Hive power, I have made plans to reach 3,000 Hive power at the end of the year and I am close to my goals since I ensured to take engagement on the blockchain as my top-most priority.

Right now I am currently at 2494+ and it's looking so possible to achieve, with consistency, powering up, and premium engagement I believe I will reach my goals.

Purtroppo la scorsa settimana non ho potuto partecipare a causa degli errori multipli su inleo che bugava peggio di un cavallo matto:

La domenica non lavoro: mi limito a rispondere ai post altrui. 
Il lunedì (ma pure il martedì, che sono usi essere due giornate impegnative anche se sono autonoma, anzi, proprio perchè sono autonoma, quando non devo andare dal dottore) ho spesso incombenze e comunque dovrei alzarmi all'orario delle galline per rispettare l'ora italiana:

Questa settimana gli impegni si stanno moltiplicando, quindi mi sa che *passo*. È il secondo periodo d'imposta e sto bazzicando più spesso del solito lo studio dei miei commercialisti. Date le nuove leggi tributarie che hanno ben pensato di complicare la vita anche a loro, stanno sudando sette camicie di ferro tanto quanto i clienti, se non di più (a differenza dell'Italia, qui se sbagliano vanno nei casini fiscali pure loro tanto quanto i clienti, anzi forse pure peggio dei clienti). Per la serie **in questo paese faresti meglio a lavorare sotto padrone**, altrimenti ti faranno le pulci anche se sei un professionista serio e affermato e dalla carriera bene avviata, ma tant'è. Ma siccome sto in perenne power down (purtroppo non posso agire altrimenti per gli stessi *sempiterni* motivi), è il secondo motivo per cui *passo*. La buona notizia è comunque la ***fine della spada di Damocle* sulla mia testa, grazie a Dio**. Ero quasi sicura di avere consegnato una dissertazione pietosa, quantomeno in fatto di formattazione e dunque mi aspettavo osservazioni sul rifacimento di questo o quel paragrafo o peggio capitolo, ma stamattina la sorpresa del massimo dei voti. Gloria a Dio! No, mi sarei aspettata al massimo il punteggio minimo (scusa il bisticcio dei termini😂). Un pensiero in meno, ma siccome avrei terminato quattro mesi prima della chiusura definitiva e rimane un margine, dovrebbero regalarmi un corso breve di tre mesi, quindi i prossimi giorni li trascorrerò per sceglierne uno affine al mio percorso. In buona sostanza, dovrò aspettare ancora per tornare un poco più attiva, ma con un peso in meno. Resta ancora la burocrazia per l'emissione dei certificati (e dovrò contattare l'università per sapere il da farsi, dato che il portale è dispersivo), che comunque dovrebbero arrivare a circa fine anno.
