Jonathon Bahai of Peerplays gives an update on what they have been up to in the past 2 weeks with one word: Legal.  Take away from legal?  Don't be afraid but do your due diligence before moving forward with any project.
Testnet still planned to be released September 26th--thanks to a wonderful team of devs with their heads down in the code.  The Peerplays Sharedop seems to correlate with a large amount of BTS being withdrawn from Centralized exchanges and onto the BitShares DEX.  Jonathon reminds everyone it still isn't too late to withdraw your BTS perrsonal wallet.  There is still a chance the snapshot has not yet been taken--get your stake in Peerplays tokens!

Pro4never (aka Chris Cook) w/ the #Jewels project announces good news regarding the success of the Jewels ICO.  The Goal for ICO funding was 200 BTC, and in the days following their last hangout they received a surge of funding to the amount of a 336 total BTC!  Congratulations to the Jewels team!  Gives us an update on 2 exchanges that will trade Jewels--[Yobit](https://yobit.net/en/) and [Alcurex](https://alcurex.com/) Exchanges. 
The game "Heroes" will be launched in the coming weeks.  More to be announced later.  
Roy wants to inform everyone that Jewels is almost finished with a portal & dashboard for ICO participants to redeem their tokens.  They also plan to have bi-weekly hangouts he will be doing with the community interested in Jewels.  Dates to be announced, will be held on Discord and will be like focus groups to help Jewels team assess areas needing improvement.

@cm-steem makes a continued appeal to active #BitShares witnesses to publish price feeds for the #gridcoin Market Pegged Asset (MPA).  He thanks wackou and ihashfury for being the two witnesses currently supporting this initiative. They will soon after be using openledger as a bridge for GRC.  The intent is to bring liquidity to their own assets that is traded on a truly decentralized DEX with no counterparty risk.  The GRC community is interested in this method of tracking value with cryptographic tokens and is putting effort into making it happen.  Please offer advice and input if interested in helping GRC with their MPA in any way!  
Cm thanks the community who join the Gridcoin hangouts every Saturday on the Beyond Bitcoin Mumble server, where Gridcoin has its own dedicated room and links to important GRC content.
Next he updates that now only 8 whitelisted projects in Gridcoin are currently failing to meet the requisite requirements of using Secure Socket Layer (SSL).  This means the vast majority of BOINC projects are using encryption between browser and webserver and is important for BOINC users so important information (Private Keys being a chief concern).  
Project Rain is also covered.  This is a means of sharedropping tokens easily on Gridcoin IDs.
