*Recently, I've been having lucid dreams. 
Closer to reality, I realized I was losing my humanity. 
I try to shorten the hours I sleep, but when I do, seconds get drawn into hours. 
Though I wake up feeling awash with reality, I feel doubtful of my consciousness. 
I escape into a loop of daily tasks going over and over and over again. 
This seems to worsen my condition. 
I tried to seek help, but my dreams never left. 
My greatest relief comes from my solitude. 
The isolation speaks to me and embraces me. 
My human relations are becoming more strained. 
The people blending in with shadows silently mocked me. 
They all complain about my depression and withdrawal. 
Well, knowing they are the cause Now, 
with my dreams, I can describe them as vividly as possible. 
Suddenly, I find myself in a dark, dark room. 
Filled with emptiness No time, no space,
nothing This lasts for what seems like years. 
Then tap tap, and I hear
 The legendary reaper with the infamous scythe of death This is the most horrifying thing ever beheld, but it seems to excite me at the end of this tortuous calm. The feeling of death doesn't accelerate my heartbeat. 
Then, eagerly awaiting the end, the reaper raises it and brings it down on my neck. 
Beep, beep, I hear the dream come to an end. This occurs innumerable times. 
I've lost count.*

*And each day has me looking worse than the last. 
The origin of this ordeal started with a trauma that badly damaged my psychological state. I was advised to visit a therapist on several occasions, but all proved void. Nothing could help.*
*I am a lost cause.*


*This was how it was. I continued in this state with no improvement whatsoever. I had even stopped bothering. Then came a certain day. I was visited by the reaper himself. At first, it was just like my lucid dreams. After all, I couldn't differentiate between dreams and reality anymore. They diagnosed me with severe hallucinations. I just shrugged it off and continued, so when the creature in my dreams appeared in reality, I wasn't shocked. As he raised his scythe, I expected to wake up to my alarm, but instead, I felt an unbearable pain. There was no blood. Instead, it felt like it came from my soul being dragged out of my body and being torn in the process. It was my time, so I receded into the darkness.*
