Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. Today's post is inspired by the Abundance Tribe Biweekly Question and the question is **Who Are You Becoming?** This is my second time participating in this biweekly questions and I must say, the questions asked always have a way of connecting to me. The question present an opportunity to reflect more on the person I am becoming.

Growth is a very essential part of the life of any human, every single person want to grow each day and also become better than who they were yesterday. I for one, I'm not excluded, I always take my time to check where I am and where I am going with my life. The question now is, **Who Am I Becoming?** Am I becoming the man I have always imagined myself to be or am I just stuck in one place still figuring out who I am? Well, the answer is yes, I'm slowly becoming the man I have always envisioned myself to be, the process is very slow and tough but I am achieving something each day in my life.

I can remember when I was very young, the things I do back then, the people I associated myself with then, I don't see myself doing those things anymore neither am I associating with those set of persons anymore. Once upon a time also, I remembered having loud mouth, I'm always talking, I talk a lot to the point that I always forget to listen, but these days, I just watch and listen and contribute when the need arises. Life has a way of shaping your path for you but that can only happen when you start evaluating yourself and asking yourself questions each time you made decisions that society feel you should not make. The moment you carry out enough self evaluation, you begin to embrace growth and life also will continue to give you lessons and experiences that will help you grow to the height that you deserve to be in.

**Who Am I Becoming?** Definitely a man with standards, standards that some day my kids will admire and say they would definitely want to be a even more better version of me. Each day passes with me discovering something new about myself, something that will shape my life in it's best form. Each lesson I learn have a way of structuring my path so well. Like I said before, it has been a very difficult journey for me, but it has been my own journey. Each day, I'm slowly becoming a man that understand, understanding more about how life work and how humanity understand life. The truth is, understanding humans helps you better live your own life.

**Who Am I Becoming?** Definitely a man that listens without judging. Growing up as a child, I'd finish you with my mouth even when I have not digested the message you are passing, I wouldn't bother taking my time to understand you before lashing on you. But life has made me understand that, every single person on planet earth, have a reason for the actions they take, either good or bad, there is always a reason and it's always best we give people listening ears without judging their actions. And over the years, I have learn this and I have been practicing it. I take my time now to hear people out, respect them enough not to judge whatever they do or say, and if they demand I share my opinion or thought on the matter, I do it with saying any hash words to them or even judging, I try as much as possible to make them understand that I actually understand them.

Just last night, I finished having a very long chat with one of my students and she said sir, thank you very much. I ask her, for what? She said, I come to you every now and then with my problems and you give me listening ears without judging. All you always do is, point out the places I went wrong and then advice how best you feel I can get them fixed and you do all this without making me feel bad about what I did, instead you make me realise my mistakes, and guide me on how not to repeat them, so thank you. I told her welcome and I reflected on how grateful she was, but that's only possible because of how welcoming I have been with her each time she bring her problem to me. I have experienced that with so many persons and it feels right, that's because I have allowed myself master how to listen to people without judging them, and I must say, I love this version of me.

So, **Who Am I Really Becoming?** Well, I'm allowing myself become a man I will look at in the mirror and say, **I AM SO PROUD OF YOU**, a man that someday my children will be proud enough to call father, I'm slowly becoming a man that will be celebrated by those he has impact so much on in one way or the other. **I'M BECOMING THE MAN THAT NO ONE IMAGINED I WILL EVER BECOME** and that's a **SUCCESSFUL MAN**. Successful in all works of life, physically, mentally, financially, you name it. That's the man I am becoming, a man I will be so proud of.
