Take note that Tite once worked with Edu in the Brazilian national team from 2016–2019, when Edu was the team's General Coordinator. Furthermore, before then, the pair also worked alongside each other when Tite was the Chief Coach of Brazilian giants, Corinthians, and Edu their Director of Football. 


It seems they want to fan the flames of their successful working history, as reports are rife that Edu has had discussions with him about taking up a role at Arsenal. The 60-year-old Tite is poised to exit the Selecao after the tournament in Qatar and as such he might be attracted to an old friend in Edu.

He affirmed that there is indeed negotiations with Tite to work in England and particularly, Arsenal.

Well, Eric Faria didn't disclose what role exactly Tite is being offered by Arsenal, but it looks unlikely he would be considered to replace Mikel Arteta as Manager, since it had early being revealed by a [SunSport](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/17734761/arsenal-offer-arteta-contract-wenger-guardiola/) that Arteta's contract which expires in 2023 will be renewed into mouth-watering levels this summer. So with this, people think that should Tite sign for the Gunners it would be a behind-the-scenes kind of role, which ofcourse he is very capable of doing.
