Hello Ecency friends. Welcome back to my 2nd post in the Sunday edition of February 23, 2022. In this post I want to share information about the breakfast menu, namely lontong vegetables.
I don't know if Lontong Sayur is only available in our country, Indonesia, or where you live too but under a different name. Because in Indonesia this breakfast menu is quite popular, we can even find it at roadside stalls.

Lontong Sayur originally came from an area on the island of Sumatra, precisely in West Sumatra. But now in various places we can easily find a breakfast menu in the form of vegetable lontong.

Lontong is the name of a food that comes from rice wrapped in banana leaves and then boiled in boiling water until the rice becomes sticky rice. Almost the same as ketupat, but when boiled the ketupat is still a grain of rice while the lontong is wrapped when it is half cooked.
As for the vegetables that complement the lontong meal, they are Siamese pumpkin with thick coconut milk, round eggs, tofu and several kinds of spices.
The vegetable lontong dish is lontong that is cut into pieces and then poured with vegetables, plus a hard-boiled egg that is round in shape.
