Всім нам іноді треба побути насамоті - порефлексувати, насолодитися тишею у голові, проаналізувати певні події та почути себе. Я люблю робити це на прогулянці улюбленим містом.

Мій улюблений район Києва - Золоті Ворота. Я виходжу на однойменній станції метро та одразу йду за кавою в Ідеаліст на Ярославому Валу. Потім дворами йду до Пейзажної алеї. Обожнюю цей район за те, що тут багато інтелігенції - української та іноземної. Загалом багато різних людей :) Але в основному всі привітні та стильні - ходеш і надихаєшся.
>My favorite area of Kyiv is the Golden Gate. I get off at the metro station of the same name and immediately go for coffee at Idealist on Yaroslaviv Val. Then I go through the courtyards to the Landscape Alley. I adore this are, there are so many smart people there: both Ukrainians and foreigners. Many different ones, of course :) But mostly all of them friendly and stylish - you walk and get inspired.

Дуже люблю Пейзажну алею з часів студенства - тут відбулося багато приємних зустрічей, побачень, тусовок та розмов. Цими днями у Києві дощить, і мені ця погода до душі - небо неймовірного кольору, багато зеленої трави, не дуже спекотно. Розумію, що це жах для метеозалежних людей, але для мене це ідеальна погода у місті влітку.

It's raining in Kyiv these days, and I like this weather - the sky is incredibly vivid, a lot of green grass, it's not too hot. На вулиці Десятинній та біля Андріївської церкви завжди якось по-туристичному святково - люди не поспішають, веселяться, гомонять. Навколо дуже-дуже красиво - саме серце Києва. Хочется присісти на лавку біля місця, де колись була Десятинна церква, під старезним дубом, та просто насолодитися свіжим повітрям. Зі сходу наближається дощ.
> On Desyatynna Street and near St. Andrew's Church there is always a kind of tourist holiday vide: people are in no hurry, having fun, joking around. So beautiful, the very heart of Kyiv. I like to sit on a bench near the place that used to be the Tithe Church, under an old oak, and just enjoy the fresh air. Rain is approaching from the east.

Перші краплі, спочатку як бризки, потім більш важкі, швидкі. Починається літня злива. Всі розбігаються, хто куди, а я не поспішаю - маю парасолю, та і мої кеди вже і без того треба прати. Одним словом, втрачати нічого! Гуляю до останнього. Порожніми та вже майже по-нічному темними вулицями йду до Софіївської площі, де мене вже чекає чоловік, щоб забрати додому.
The first drops, just spraying at first and then getting heavier, faster. The summer downpour begins. Everyone is running away, and I'm in no hurry: I have an umbrella, and my sneakers could honestly use some cleaning already anyway. Nothing to lose! I slowly walk through empty and almost completely dark streets, just like it's night, to Sofiyivska Square, where my husband is already waiting to take me home.

Обожнюю такі дні. Почуваюся після таких прогулянок просто прекрасно.
