Hello Hive naija, been a while you saw me on this streets. Life happened and I got crazy busy. But today I'll be sharing something I wrote that was inspired by the image below.

My shadow crawling back 
into existence, asking questions
my head can't process.

Drops it heavy, feels like a 
million tonnes are taking turns
dropping points this mind
can't process. 

My shadow, the unfinished ideas 
of yesterday now a blur.
Twice as difficult to process.

This shadow follows me 
around like a stubborn fly.
Like a legion marching 
behind the flag.
Like vultures following the trail
of the carcass.

if I'm unable to untangle this,
will end up with a snapped neck. 
A broken dream.
