I want to appreciate @the-future for the opportunity to participate in something with this kind of uniqueness. 

It has always been my desire to start something new and unique here on steemit, and with this kind of opportunity presented by @the-future, I think it's high time I bring it to the public,i hope this vision grow beyond my thinking . 

I was introduced to steemit by a man known for his acts of giving @emmakwisequote, he has been posting most of his post under the #theactsofkindness, all he does is to look for someone with unique need and make a post about it after meeting the need from his pouch. I was a beneficiary of such act of kindness from him. He has been telling me about steemit for long, but I was reluctant to yield to his word,though I was in great need of such opportunity like steemit, becuase i was still struggling with life then. He got me  the phone I'm using for steemit as a result of his kindness and taught me how to go about blogging and that single act put an end to poverty in my life. His idea was what triggered my  idea to start thinking of having  a contest within the realm of giving in other to see more people practicing  the acts on regular basis.  

If we can make it an act, at least whether we win the contest or not, lives would be touched on weekly basis if not daily 

It's a pity @emmakwisequote has lost password to his steemit account, but he would love to join this trend whenever he find his way back here. He has been working on that underneath.

We have talked about having this kind of community on steemit when we grow power, but if this idea is considered by @the-future and all the steemian, it's a thing we can give a go now. 

**What name am I giving to it? **
Well, like in the topic, I want this contest to be given a name that revolved round love, so I am choosing the name "LOVE IN ACTION"
I choose this name because true love is not about theory,but a practical thing,where the action speak much louder than voice.  

These are the plan for the contest if it is considered? 

**The objective of the contest:**

In @damarth word, the real poor people don't have access to internet, but people that are already making their  living from steemit can reach out to them so that the benefits from steemit can get to them as well. 
This contest can help us to build a community where everyone involved would be a natural giver. 
This idea would not be approached as only a contest but also as an act to touch lives 

  **Who are the targeted groups?**

The target group are those with one unique need or the other, examples of such people include but not limited to the following :
1. There are sick people out their that need little financial support to settle their hospital bills or pay for their  medication , meeting those needs can do so much in elongating their lives

2. Their are children that needed to be registered in school, registering those children in school would help in securing their future 

3. Their are windows or single parents that struggle to meet the needs of their families, meeting those needs can help to restore their happiness 

4. Their are abandoned children in the street or orphanage homes, visiting them to show them some love would help in integrating them into our world

These and other unique needs that can be met as a result of this acts are welcomed  as well. 
Just ensure you go out and touch at least a life in a week. 

**How do people participate in the contest?**

1. Every week, all the contestants will look for someone in need and meet those needs
2. They will make a post round such act of kindness
3. They must back their post with photo or video evidence 
4. They must vote and resteem the contest to give the opportunity to more contestants and increase the reward 
5. There would be two to three winners every week
6. The winners would be handsomely rewarded to encourage them to do more in the coming week,these would based on the upvote and support we receive per contest.
7. Those with intending projects can participate as well,if their projects ideas are genuine and they are considered as the winner, they would be supported as well. 

**Who can participate in the contest?**

1. The contest would be open to anybody,it does not matter the location or the reputation. At least, our location can't prevent us from touching lives

2. They must meet all the above requirements to be considered as winner or winners
3. The topic should be love in action   + your own topic for the week. 
For example : love in action , putting smiles to the face of children on the street. 

4. One of the tags must be :loveinaction

5. They must post the link to their post under the new contest for the week
