Hello @lexikon082 I am the author of @twitterbot. It just scans for twitter status links all over steemit and replies to those, it doesn't use the embed code from twitter, but rather some custom markup processed directly from the twitter API.

Yea I also don't think @oleim owns the bot; they were just answering your question. I can't tell how the Twitterbot is doing it yet either; we may have to remove part of the code (I'm guessing) --- maybe the regular markdown code for blockquote, with everything else inside? --- if anyone ever figures this out, please let me know.
