##### One of the saddest moment in my life was when the nearest family member, our pillar at home, died without sickness. Well, we know that death is a theft that will come anytime. And this is the story I want to elaborate today as we celebrate the first year death anniversary of our father.

*That was the time we had a welcome party for my arrival. May, 24, 2022, We had a beach party. He was my father sitting down on the sand, sunbathing before the sunset.*

I had a n unforgettable 2022 vacation, happiness, togetherness,and sadness. They were all happy hearing my homecoming. My father was the most happiest one. From Jizan, Saudi Arabia I went to KKIA in Riyadh for my flight going to my connecting flight via Qatar to NAIA,terminal 1 and then. I went to my brother house in Marikina. The following day we went to Bulacan for the birthday celebration of my Aunt from the USA. We went home that day because it was my flight for Bohol. Instead of going to Davao, I preferred meeting first my father. I never knew that they had prepared a welcome party held in our local beach,named as Little Boracay of Loon, Bohol.

*Those were some picture of my tatay who was very healthy that time, May 24,2022. We stayed the beach until night.*

Staying there for 10 days and I went to the place of my son's family. I had important matter to handled for him, his family and all. 

June 23,2022, early in the morning, my sister told me that tatay had uneasy breathing. They bought medicine and he was then okay but to secured his life, they admitted him to a private hospital in Tagbilaran City. At 2pm, my brother called me in messenger connecting with our family group chat. I saw tatay battling for his life. My brother cried, we cried because our father was already dead at 2pm. The doctor gave CPR and all procedure to save him and his life was back after 10 minutes of pumping his heart. They put injection and doctor told us to wait an hour about his body response. Then we decided to  put him in the ICU but there was a patient also battling for life. The injection  had a good reaction to his body but he was just sleeping. 

At 11:30pm, the was again facing the shortage of breathing though they used oxygen.They did CPR again and my sister told me to surrender our tatay to God. The doctor talked to my sister who is working in that hospital that we have to decide to remove the stuff for artificial breathing, let him go or put in the ICU. In the ICU, he will be alive but only 95% assurance that he will gain consciousness and bring him to life again. The doctor talk to my sister that the heart ofy father was not functioning anymore and it just cost us thousand of money without assurance if we have to transfer him to another hospital because the ICU was full. Being an eldest among siblings, they let me decide. I told them to put in the ICU, grabbing the 5% chance to live again.

But, while decided to extend his life in the ICU, tatay gave up his life. Kung kailan pwede na siya sa ICU, ay binawian siya ng buhay na hindi pa nakarating sa ICU room. Mabuti nalang doon nagtrabaho ang kapatid ko at  baka kung wala ipapasok pa rin sa ICU para lumaki ang billing namin.

That was the last moment of our father ended in Ramiro Hospital in Tagbilaran City.

We went Bohol. We  were a lot going to attend his wake. We were 12 individuals flying via Cebu Pacific to Panglao Airport. After his burial we went back to Davao. My father has only one sister residing in Davao so her family were among of us going to Bohol again.

The mass for my father death anniversary today is being celebrated at home headed by the Church of Christ of the Philippines, Badbad Or. Loon Bohol chapter.
