How my account got recovered after 4 days, Steem became idiot-proof and I got richer without logging in!

<p>I want to thank everyone that has been working on steemit , the way you have dealt with this whole situation is inspiring and comforting. My woman and the kid &nbsp;already left on a camping trip but I was convinced I should stay another day at home and get the steem account recovered before I leave to the forest. I am so happy right now, putting my trust and effort in steem was probably one of the best decisions I ever made, thank you. &nbsp;</p>
<p>I now have an great story to tell and hopefully this will make more people overcome their fear for this amazing new technology.&nbsp;I really want to share this possibility to accumulate wealth with everyone I meet but most people just don't get it. I can understand their fear tho, steem really sounds to good to be true until you become a part of it yourself and experience everything for yourself.</p>
<p>I wrote some stuff while I had lost access to my steem account but now that I can get back in, those posts seem irrelevant and I want to write something fresh or maybe just say:&nbsp;</p>

<p>I could write about the past days, those 4 tormenting long days without steem. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The suffering,&nbsp;</p>
<p>the horror!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Haha, no it wasn't that bad and I could still read all the awesome posts from you all. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Of course it was not fun not being able to log into that precious steem account but I wasn't really worried, maybe just bit bored I will admit.&nbsp;Almost everything is powered up and the devs communicated clearly what the problem was and what was being done to fix it. My account was safe but I could not enter it.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><center><em>"This will probably only speed up the momentum of steem anyway!"</em></center></h2>
<p>A few days before that I was crashing at a friends house with a really big nice garden. The plan was to camp there for a few days and write that killer post I had been planning for a while now. It was still early and I had just logged into steem, a nice hot cup of coffee steaming in front me. I was enjoying the view, it was a beautiful garden and lots of birds we're singing when suddenly the police barged in his house. They came for some problem but they then decided to call the bomb squad for 2 empty WWII grenades that he had in his collection. If I had knew back then what would happen that evening in France, our neighboring country, I would have had understood why those cops were so edgy that day.&nbsp; The day after I was crashing somewhere else and when I saw the message I changed my password. Then I got locked out of steem and moments later I saw there was a coup in Turkey.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I did become impatient tho and so I made another account. I distracted myself a bit for fun in The Gimp so I might still&nbsp;use this account for posting wallpapers or other graphic art I make myself. If people got requests or tips, please share your thoughts.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>You can also use them to decorate your twitter or&nbsp;facebook and you can help promote steem! &nbsp;</p>

<p>We got our account recovery tool!&nbsp;The devs just made Steem&nbsp;pretty much idiot proof. Poloniex added 3 steem pairings at once. Ethereum fork is also coming, this will restore a lot of trust.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nothing but good news in cryptoland so let's make a toast to steem and every other tool that is creating change and empowering individuals to take control of their own destiny.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Being addicted and after such a withdrawal hehe,&nbsp;I will probably still bring my laptop and keep posting.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
