It seems to me there's something in the air,
I don't know,
a new kind of silence.
I see it as if all the noise from before
is being saved
for later.
for when it shines.

I don't see it completely,
but I feel it.
like when you're almost home
and you already know the way by heart,
even if you don't look. That's certainly what happens to me.

I don't know if I'm ready,
but I'm close.
closer than ever.
I know that.
because it doesn't hurt like it used to.
and that's something.

I used to think change was an explosion,
a glowing sign,
a brilliant phrase to close chapters.
but no.
it's more like a slight crack
through which a light begins to enter, for some for the worse, for others for the better.

and I don't have everything figured out.
but I'm eager.
and I didn't have that a long time ago.

I don't need promises.
or proof.
or for everything to be clear.
Just this strange impulse
pushing me from within,
as if something were telling me
go, almost
one more, one more and you'll see it.

And I think I'm going to see it.
I don't know when,
but I think it won't be that long now.
And when it comes,
I know it won't be perfect.
But it'll be better.
Much better than before
where everything weighed on me
and I didn't know why.

And that's enough.
To know that I'm not so far away
from myself anymore.
