From my understanding Burning means that the tokens are sent to an account called @null which nobody holds the keys to and then they are automatically deleted. So they are being taken out of circulation and this in theory will make the other tokens more valuable. First of all, you need a Flamethrower. Then you drop the coins onto a cold wallet, I'd suggest a USB Stick. Stick the USB Stick into your PC and send all the Tokens you do want to burn to the username/adress '@null'. In crypto burn means to "get rid of", by sending to null or another place where the tokens will not be used and are usually destroyed. The point is to take them out of circulation so they can't be purchased or sold again (reducing the overall supply) In crypto there is a lot of focus on reducing supply and not nearly enough focus on increasing demand. So, Alpha is advocating to reduce supply by burning tokens, which is pretty meaningless without adding to demand as well.
