Hello ladies of Hive, I am @onos-f and I learnt about this platform from a friend @marybello. However, it's not clear to me if this platform is strictly restricted to only ladies. Be that as it may, it's my first entry here and I am so magneted to the second question of this contest and wish to respond to it. If it turns out that only ladies are allowed to make entries here then I will accept the reality and direct my subsequent ladies' related entries appropriately. 🙏 

After reading this write-up, hopefully, the following points will be glering;

1) THE MEANING OR UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONCEPT OF MAKE-UP 

2) WHY MAKE-UP? WHAT'S THE NEED? 

3) WHO SHOULD APPLY MAKE-UP? 

4) THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO MAKE UP FOR 

5) MY IDEA OF A RESILIENT WOMAN AND WHO SHE TRULY IS AND HER MAKE-UP CHALLENGES.

LET'S GET STARTED 

A lot of ladies  and even guys out there spend quantom of time drawing eye pencils, fixing eye lashes, contact lenses, applying different beautifying materials on their faces and bodies. They call all of these 'MAKE-UP'.  Others go extra miles by using some creams that can enhance not just their skins but also their boobs and hips and butts and other body parts. They call this 'make-up' and it has become the other of the day in our contemporary world. A lot of people are into it even when it is not needed by them in the actual sense but because their friends or family members are doing it.  Before I continue, let's find out the meaning or understanding of the concept of 'make-up'

WHAT IS MAKE UP?
Elucidating on the topic or concept under consideration, to 'make- up' simply means to fill in a gap or put into place that which is missing. Put differently, it means that for one to think of 'make- up, there must be something lacking that needs attention. It means that there must be something that is not well placed or completely missing that needs to be considered and put into right perspective or make up for. That is why a lady whose hair is not long enough feels like something is not okay, hence, she desires an artificial hair that is long to make up for the short one. The one who feels her face is not fine enough looks for some face enhancement creams and other stuffs to beautiful her face and make up for the beauty that she is lacking. The one who feels her boobs and hip are too small wants to make up by using boobs enlargement creams and hip up creams to make up for what is lacking. 

Well, I really do not have problems with people especially ladies who want to make up for what is lacking in them. And I don't have problem with ladies or people who are interested in looking so good and beautiful outwardly. The problem I'm having with many people is centered on the fact that they most times misconstrue and misappropriate the understanding of make- up. By this, I mean that some people make up for what is not lacking. How can one make up for what is not missing or lacking in them? That is why sometimes you see extremely beautiful and gorgeous ladies looking for eye lashes and eye contact lenses. Their beauty is enough to drag an irresponsible man into a dirty smelling gutter but they still want to add more features on their beauty. Maybe they want men who do not have custody of the eyes or self control not just to fall into dirty gutter but to also have sleepless night filled with fantasies and unimaginable imaginations😂

It is a fact and I do believe so strongly that  many people will agree with me that make- ups some times go wrong. That is the reason some beautiful ladies and other ladies look like masquerades😜 after applying lots of ointments on their faces in the name of make-up.  Even some beautiful ladies who ordinarily do not need makeup sometimes appear less than their natural beauty and look so unkept after appling make up. This is called 'MAKE - DOWN '. 😂 They want to make up and look more beautiful but they end up making down and looking less than their natural beauty. 

The reason I'm here today is to encourage some of our ladies to moderate the way they 'make up'. Also, I'm here to encourage some ladies to discern properly in other to know what part of the body or area of their life that truly needs make up.  Don't apply make up because others are doing it. Find out the area or part of you that needs make-up. Furthermore, I am here to inform many of our ladies who may not be aware, and those who might have forgotten that 'makeup' is not needed only on the physical body but character makeup is also very essential.  
How can one be so concerned about facial make-up when she has not made up for her inability to cook and keep the house neat as a lady? How can she desire to make up for her rough finger nails when she has not made up for not having strong moral life and acceptable character? What then is the aim or goal of physical makeup when her character and way of life is nothing to write home about? As a way of conclusion, I will urge my dear sisters, friends and everyone who sees this entry to visit the shop of make-up artists and fix what they feel is lacking in them physically, but they should not forget to fix what is lacking in their character and other ways of life in the shop of character and good behaviour makeup artist.

On a final note, and as a way of responding to the second question concerning a resilient woman. Who is she? I will summarize by stating that She is a woman who makes up for what is actually and truely  missing or lacking. A resilient woman does not spend  her time only on facial or beauty of the body. She is interested in building her future, her home, her carriers and she is not carried away by making up for what is not missing or lacking.  I have a lot of resilient women around me and I'm so proud of them. I hope @hopestylist and @marybello see this entry. Moreso, If you are a woman and you have successfully read through this entry, I can confidently say that you are truly resilient and I love you and I'm so proud of you. Yes, you are truly resilient because a resilient woman is always in search of knowledge and she reads always and ask questions necessarily. This is how she is able to tackle her challenges and the problems around her.
