Interesting article about the fight to save the tiny black rail which is quickly dying out in South Louisiana. Hopefully coastal restoration efforts will bring back some of the habitat that this bird needs to survive. There has been some progress in saving the coast, but a lot more needs to be done. It's all related, if we save the habitat we save countless species, if we loose the coast we loose countless species.

I hope we can do a better job in the future of saving some of these animals, maybe use social media to get more people involved
