Honestly, I have almost forgotten about the Russia and Ukraine crisis or war, and I can bet that many people did too until yesterday when the European Union statistics agency, Eurostat punished the recorded all time high of the Eurozone since March and April when it got to 7.4 and on the last day of May, yesterday It has now risen to 8.1 making the price of food and energy to spike up in 19 countries that use euro as their main currency, these kind of thing happening to Eurozone the 19  member states of the European Union that has accepted Euro as legal tender and sole or primary currency is one of the reason why I hate war because it makes cost of living in the countries affected by the war and the countries that needs what those countries that are affected by war provides, in these case Russia is one of the countries affected by the war and since they are the world’s largest oil exporter, it is expected that the war will definitely impact the exportation of oil and gas, after the agreement meant to punish Russia for starting this war against Ukraine, when they invaded Ukraine that spiked the price of oil and natural gas, the international standard Brent crude oil rose to $120 per barrel and price of energy has jumped 39.2% and base on the news report I read it is likely going to remain high for a longer time, which means the cost living in States that use euro as their legal tender is going to continue being high.

# Inflation In Eurozone Is At Its All Time High

Currently, the inflation in Europe has reached a 50 year all time high since 1997, what does this say about the value Euro and European States' economy, is the inflation rate continue to keep on increasing and making the cost of living in these affected states high, making life difficult for those who live in these areas. Because on Twitter people are already complaining about how the increase in eurozone inflation that rose to 8.1% is affecting them, one tweeted and I quote "8% ..without gas, oil, and power, food also crazy, a liter milk now 85 [euro cents](https://twitter.com/martyxl69/status/1531701917855928320?t=abkVT7Em8Fe07jqxyzItng&s=19)", And there are many more like this on Twitter.

Micheal Saylor shared his opinion on the increase in inflation to 8.1% saying that there is no simple cure for the disease of stagflation, but Bitcoin remains the best therapeutic. we know he is a Bitcoin maximalist so he will always put Bitcoin first, suggesting that Bitcoin is the only asset that protects you against inflation by bringing you huge returns long-term, which is true because I haven't seen anyone who invested in Bitcoin over a five year period that lost, so it's a proven fact, despite the crypto market is down now but the bull run will come sooner or later, and we are beginning to see a little pump in the crypto market as it hit $32k yesterday after dipping below $29k last week.
