가슴이야 가끔 울겅울겅 한다 해도
쏟아낼 눈물조차 없는  메마른 외눈박이에겐
쓸쓸한 이름으로 서서 오래도록 평온하고
오래도록 변함없는 새들의 둥지가 되고싶을 뿐
 
발구름 조차 힘겨운 모래 위에
한 그루 나무를 부목처럼 동여맨 채   
저녁마다 벌건 혈란血卵을 낳고서야
어린 새를 품을 수 있는 그들의 이름은
 
모두 다 한결같이 
섬이다
