After the order was placed I noticed many new orders changing and I needed to adjust my bid... </p> <p><em><strong>Not so fast! </strong></em></p> <p><img src="https://s31.postimg.org/stsvt65h7/Screen_Shot_2016_07_18_at_4_41_02_PM.png" width="1280" height="389"/></p> <p><em><strong>Oh no! The market has adjusted and I have no easy way in the GUI to update my bid. :(</strong></em></p> <p>Unfortunately the front-end currently has no way to do this. For the time being you'll need do this from the CLI_WALLET. This is very useful if you want to re-adjust your bid - otherwise your transaction will be locked until executed. </p> <p>Here is the simple way to do that:</p> <p>1. Head to http://steemd.com and locate your user</p> <p>2. In your account ledger you'll see the transaction you place, click it open and make note of the "order id"</p> <p>It will look something like this</p> <p><img src="https://s31.postimg.org/zd93yj2ff/Screen_Shot_2016_07_18_at_5_00_26_PM.png" width="1280" height="229"/></p> <p>3. Once in your CLI_WALLET execute this command</p> <blockquote>cancel_order user "your_transaction_id_without_commas" true</blockquote> <p><em>It's important to put the transaction id without the commas or it will fail. </em></p> <p>4. Refresh your user and now your funds(steem/steem dollars) are now available again</p> <p>5. Place a new bid if you wish!</p> </html>

That's strange! For me the internal market GUI does have the cancel order button. Have you tried refreshing the page?

@scrawl Yep, it's definitely there now! At the time of this post there was a few days the front end was updating and wanted to give an alternative option from the cli wallet.
