When you see the title you will say... Who asks for a vacation in the middle of a pandemic; I also lasted a long time thinking like this for about a year, but it was the most deserving and relaxing vacation I have had in a long time since I graduated from college; although it was not the way I wanted it to be.
My first working vacations were the most awaited by me for a whole year, even the touristic calendar was ready! I was going to Los Roques 😂
I needed a break from the craziness of working life, the human body speaks to us, and sometimes you have to learn to understand or capture the signals that our body sends and know how to understand that something is not right.
When I went on vacation my plans were to go to the best town on the coast of Vargas State (now La Guaira), a magical town called La Sabana. (if you live in Venezuela I invite you to visit it).
Already a week away from finishing my work obligations, I decided to send two suitcases full with all my clothes to go and enjoy a few days in my favorite paradisiacal place 🌴 to clear my mind, sleep and drink some cold beers 😛.
Everything was ready in my mind (perfect vacation), my bags were already in La Sabana and I was the only one missing. A night full of mixed emotions, I hardly slept, I had already been told that we might encounter some checkpoints or checkpoints; but as the saying goes, faith moves mountains, we ignored those comments. When the day of my trip arrived, together with my family, we left Caracas early in the morning, heading to La Guaira.

Arriving to La Guaira, indeed we realized that the entrance was restricted for any vehicle😱, so we decided to turn back and leave the next day earlier; but I think the idea was worse (or not very good) because we got to a very well known place called Los Caracas and from there on there was no way to pass.

Even though things didn't go as I had already planned, I knew how to give good use to these vacations; I chose to be more constant in #hive 😎 learn a little bit of cooking, do more exercises, read a good book ( the Art of War by Sun Tzu, I recommend it) put a little bit in order my home, my ideas, but above all rest.
My vacation was deserved, full of energy and good vibes and I return to the office with my batteries super charged, my mind much clearer about my work issues as I left and above all psychologically prepared to deal with my complicated boss.😅 ( @leydil I understand your feelings already)
Happiness is found in the little things that surround you ( a smile, your loved ones, a book, an awakening, an arepa with butter and cheese, a beer) let's learn to be dazzled by life; to live **One Day at a Time**.
That's what I learned this time, to let the situation flow and not anticipate events, because just by doing that....

Espero que se encuentren muy bien.
Al ver el título dirán... Quien pide vacaciones en plena pandemia; yo también duré mucho pensando así mas o menos todo un año, pero fueron las vacaciones mas merecedoras y relajantes que he tenido en mucho tiempo desde que me gradué de la universidad; aunque no fueron como quería.
Mis primeras vacaciones trabajando, fueron las más esperadas por mi durante todo un año, ya hasta el calendario turístico lo tenía listo! para Los Roques me iba a ir 😂
Necesitaba un descanso de las locuras de la vida laboral, el cuerpo humano nos habla, y a veces hay que aprender a entender o captar las señales que manda nuestro organismo y saber entender que algo no esta bien.
Al salir de vacaciones mi planes eran irme al mejor pueblo de las Costas del Estado Vargas (ahora La Guaira), un pueblo mágico llamado La Sabana. (si vives en Venezuela te invito a conocerlo).
Ya a una semana de terminar mis obligaciones laborales, decidí mandar dos maletas llenas con toda mi ropa para irme a disfrutar unos días a mi lugar paradisíaco favorito 🌴 para despejar la mente, dormir y tomarme unas cervezas bien frías.😛

Todo ya estaba listo en mi mente ( vacaciones perfectas), mis maletas ya estaban en La Sabana y solo faltaba yo. Una noche llena de emociones encontradas, casi no dormí, ya me habían comentado que posiblemente nos encontraríamos con algunos puntos de control o alcabalas; pero como dice el dicho, la fe mueve montañas, hicimos caso omiso a esos comentarios. Al llegar el día de mi viaje junto con mi familia salimos temprano de Caracas, rumbo a La Guaira.
Llegando a La Guaira, efectivamente nos dimos cuenta que estaba restringida la entrada para cualquier vehículo😱, así que decidimos regresarnos y salir al siguiente día más temprano; pero creo que la idea fue peor (o no muy buena) porque llegamos hasta un lugar muy conocido llamado Los Caracas y de ahí en adelante no había manera alguna para pasar.
>>Y ahora si todo estaba mal ya que me tocaba quedarme en Caracas prácticamente sin ropa porque mis maletas se fueron de viaje sin mi. 😐
Mi mamá me dijo que no las mandara, que esperará pero comí ansias. Si mi abuela estuviera viva me hubiera dicho uno de sus grande refranes... **camarón por porfiado carga la mierda en la cabeza** <h2>🤦♂🤦♂</h2>
>>De cada situación "mala" o mejor dicho no tan buena, siempre nos queda un aprendizaje así que disidí aprovechar esos días de descanso en mi casa en Caracas, para compartir con toda mi familia y no pensar en lo que pudo haber sido y no fue, dejé el drama y me ocupé.
A pesar de que las cosas no salieron como ya tenía previsto, supe darles buen provecho a estas vacaciones; opté ser más constante en #hive 😎 aprender un poco de cocina, hacer más ejercicios, leer un buen libro ( el Arte de la Guerra de Sun Tzu, se los recomiendo) poner un poco en orden mi hogar, mis ideas, pero sobre todo descansar.
Mis vacaciones fueron merecedoras, cargadas de energía y buena vibra y vuelvo a la oficina con las baterías super cargadas, la mente mucho más clara en cuanto a mis asuntos laborales a como me fui y sobre todo preparado psicológicamente para poder lidiar con mi complicada jefa.😅 ( @leydil ya entiendo tus sentimientos)
La felicidad se encuentra en las pequeñas cosas que te rodean ( una sonrisa, tus seres querido, un libro, un despertar, una arepa con mantequilla y queso, una cerveza) aprendamos a deslumbrarnos con la vida; a vivir **Un Día a La Vez**.
Eso lo aprendí en esta oportunidad, dejar que la situación fluya y no anticiparme a los acontecimientos, porque justamente por hacer eso...
