<div class=pull-left>It has nocturnal habits, can stay awake at night, and is characterized by being lonely. It is a bird that can live up to 20 years and usually inhabits the same territory throughout its life, especially in areas of forests with evergreen trees (which do not lose their leaves during winter) where they choose to establish their nests. The female usually lays between three to four eggs.👨‍💻👨‍🏫

<div class=pull-left>The owl is carnivorous and tends to hunt prey that is smaller or nearly the same size as itself. Due to its developed senses of sight and hearing, it tends to hunt at night. It mostly feeds on lizards, rabbits, spiders, insects, snails, worms, other birds, and sometimes fish. Once it catches a prey, it does not chew it, but instead rips it open and swallows it directly.😏😏

<div class=pull-left>Like all birds, the owl is oviparous and, depending on the species, can lay up to ten eggs, although the most common is that there are three or four. Females can nest throughout the year, but the most intense time is close to spring. The young are cared for by both parents, but during the incubation period the female remains in the nest and the male leaves in search of food. To lay their eggs, they usually take advantage of natural cavities in trees, cliffs or abandoned nests of other birds. The most characteristic thing about the relationship between owls is that they are capable of being with the same partner for the rest of their lives, although they have to separate at some intervals of time or times of the year that are not ideal for mating.🤔🤔😮😮👶👶🧒👦

<div class=pull-left>The largest of the Portuguese nocturnal prey, the eagle owl is one of the most coveted species by bird watchers, but it is not always easy to find. Huge, with its 60 cm size, the eagle owl is unmistakable. It has two plumes on its head, reminiscent of two "ears". The eyes, very large, are orange. His "Uhu" chant can be heard from several kilometers away.🥰🥰

<div class=pull-left>As in the case of other nocturnal rapinas, or bufo-real rarely appears during the day, or that makes its observation quite difficult and can give the idea of being a very rare species. However, this species is not especially rare and can also be found regularly in certain non-interior areas. However, because of his nocturnal habits, he is more easily out of life than he is wearing. To his vocal activity is more intense during the winter months (particularly from Novembro to Fevereiro)🤩🤩

<div class=pull-left>To talk about the vision of owls, I always use a camera lens for example, for example an owl has the ability to zoom in on a prey so its calculations are exact like any bird of prey! its second weapon is the design of its feathers since it performs a silent flight this allows it to fly over its prey without being heard!😶😶

<div class=pull-left>The wild owl is a resident of Portugal and its singing can be heard throughout the year (although less frequently in late summer). The species is distributed from north to south of the country, but its abundance varies greatly from one area to another, being more frequent in the southern half of the country. It is particularly common in extensive cork oak and holm oak forests and in certain mature pine forests. It is rarer in treeless or high altitude areas, as well as in heavily urbanized areas.😏😏
