I come from Atebubu in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana.I happened to be in my hometown this weekend and what I saw was not pleasant to me at all . I wish I could do something about it . The people in my area really suffer during the dry season. They have to travel miles away from the town to the villages and the near by towns before they can get water to do their house chores or drink . I pity the school going age children for they will be late for school every day since they normally fetch water in the morning before leaving for schooland this is really affecting them academically. No wonder people living in my area finds it difficult to Continue their education. But nevertheless we have prominent people coming from there but proportional wise is not encouraging. What is the future for us? I wish I can help .
