Today I share with you some important snapshots of vibrant Caracas. I walked through some places I hadn't visited in a long time, and arrived at the Quebrada Honda neighborhood, one of the areas with the greatest cultural wealth, where important buildings converge, such as the National Center for Social Action, The artist's house, and nearby we can visit the Museum of Fine Arts, the Science Museum, the Teresa Carreño Theater, and the Children's Museum. In addition, in the surrounding area, we see a variety of religious centers that, due to their striking structures, do not go unnoticed.

>Hoy les comparto capturas importantes de la palpitante Caracas, camine por algunos lugares que tenía tiempo que no visitaba, así llegue el sector Quebrada Honda, una de las zonas que cuenta con la mayor riqueza cultural y es que aquí convergen edificaciones importantes Como el Centro Nacional de Acción Social, La Casa del Artista, y por su cercanías podemos llegar al Museo de Bellas Arte, Museo de Ciencias, Teatro Teresa Carreño, Museo de Los Niños, y además en su entorno, vemos una diversidad de centros religiosos que por sus estructuras llamativas no pasan desapercibida.
We come across the Monastery of Saint Charbel, of the Lebanese Order, a great Lebanese saint associated with eternity, son of the Order and the perfume of Lebanon.

The Sheikh Ibrahim al Ibrahim Mosque of Caracas is also located here. The second largest in Latin America, it was inaugurated on April 22, 1993, and stands out for its classical Islamic architecture mixed with a modern architectural style.

I remembered the times I came to this National Center for Social Action to witness great events, long lines to see the different orchestras of our country play. The excitement was indescribable and the place was packed. Each performance by the musicians penetrated our veins, and the ovation was a sign of the pride we felt in seeing our young people raising our music to new heights. And how could we forget that this Music Center owes its existence to maestro José Antonio Abreu.
>Recordé las veces que vine a este Centro Nacional de Acción Social, para presenciar grandes eventos, largas colas para ver tocar las diferentes orquestas de nuestro país, La emoción era indescriptible y el lleno era total, cada interpretación de los músicos penetraba en nuestras venas y la ovación era una muestra del orgullo que nos sentíamos de ver nuestros jóvenes poniendo nuestra música en alto. Y cómo no recordar que este Centro Musical, se debe al maestro José Antonio Abreu.
The artist's house, was created in honor of Amador Bendayán, a well-known television presenter who hosted the program Sábado Sensacional for decades. In his honor, the Casa del Artista bears his name. It is a place that has welcomed all of our Venezuelan artists.
>La Casa del Artista, creada en homenaje a Amador Bendayán, un animador muy reconocido que trasmitía, un programa de televisión por décadas, llamado: “Sábado Sensacional”. En honor a él, la Casa del Artista lleva su nombre, Es un recinto que acogió a todos nuestros artistas venezolanos.
Through my lens, I can also see history and everyday life. The photos I took capture the iconic buildings that define our city. Each building tells a story about why it was created. In this window, the past mixes with the energy of the people who live in the present. I hope you are all well, my friends. With this photo, I conclude my black and white series for today.
>Desde mi lente, puedo ver también la historia y la vida cotidiana, las fotos que tomé, capturan los edificios emblemáticos que reseñan nuestra ciudad en cada construcción nace un cuento por lo que fueron creados, en esta ventana se mezcla el pasado con la energía de las personas que vive un presente.
