I have a lot to say about procrastination, everyone here will agree with me that this thing called procrastination exists in us, I don’t think that there is someone that will come out and say that he or she has never procrastinated before. In fact it’s more like a hobby to so many people, I intend to do something but before you know it they will prefer to rather leave it till the next day.

From my own perspective, I believe it’s students that fall more victim when it comes to procrastinating. They were sent to school to study which implies reading, some students do read immediately the semester starts so they can be ahead of their lecturers, these are the ones that ask more questions in class while some students have the intention on reading as soon as the semester starts but procrastination won’t allow them to see well. I could remember when I was in school, how I prepared myself right from the house saying that immediately lectures start I will have to prepare my timetable for reading. I encourage myself a lot about early reading but when I got to school and when lectures started, I found myself saying that I will read the next week, even when the week came I postponed it to another week and that was how it started till I heard that exams will be started soon. I became so angry at myself because I knew I didn’t put that much effort due to procrastination, I had to start reading at the dying minute which was too much for me to handle but at the end I passed the exams. 

The problem with procrastination is that in some cases, the outcome might be negative while sometimes it will turn out positive. The last time I procrastinated was last month, I was meant to wash my clothes but due to laziness I postponed washing till the next week from next week it entered another week and that was how my clothes accumulated so much that when I brought them outside to wash I became afraid, I reasoned how long it will take me to wash them and I was already tired before I started. Initially it would have taken me a couple of minutes to wash them but since I left it to accumulate it took me more than an hour to wash. I was so frustrated and tired, I even thought of putting some back but when I reasoned it that I will still have to wash them, I decided to just zero my mind and finish what I had already started. By the time I was done, I was already exhausted,  since then I told myself never to procrastinate again especially towards washing my clothes because the more you wait, the more it accumulate for you. </div>
