After awhile we have finally been given a task by the newbies initiative which we're to carry out. Indeed it's an amazing task and the I want to appreciate @starstrings01 and his teams for their great work, it has really been an amazing experience with them.

##### **<div class="phishy">MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR</div>**

It has really been a great experience for me ever since I joined Hive platform, though at first it was a tough journey, a journey that almost made me to give up.

When I first started late last year, my first post was so encouraging which is my introduction post, it motivated me to write more post but after I dropped my second article, I realized that people didn't even come to visit my post and I asked myself why. I never knew I had to go through stress just to get an upvotes. Even my subsequent posts weren't encouraging so I decided that I will have to quit, how can I create time to write a post and yet still get nothing to motivate me to do more.

After my friend told me I have to build my account by engaging in comments and contest in any community, it has helped me a lot. 

Now I can boldly say that my experience so far has been an interesting and an amazing one, because I got to meet new friends who in one way or the other taught me lots of things that has helped me to grow my account. When I first joined, it was hard to write an article because I was never good in writing but with time, I got to know that writing is very good and hive has brought out the best in me when it comes to writing an article. You never can know what you're good at until to try it out.

Plagiarism is the act of taking someone else's post as your own post. I call it the act of stealing because taking what doesn't belong to you without permission or without putting the source means you're stealing ones thing. What I meant by putting the source is that you have to tell us where you got the post by putting a link to that post on your post.

My thoughts generally is that plagiarism is a very bad act and who so ever that is doing it has to stop because when you're caught stealing someone's post, there's a punishment for offenders.

Most people thinks that the only way to get an upvotes is by begging people to upvote their article which is very bad. I believe if you want people to upvote your post, engagement in people's article matters a lot because through that means, people can know you thereby visiting your post.

Begging for an upvotes is totally out of it and shouldn't be tolerated and those involved in it should put a stop to it immediately.

When I saw this particular one I had to laugh because it's awkward recycling your previous post, for you to do that it means you're very lazy and people like that shouldn't be on hive anymore. 

Recycling a post means you lack creativity, it means you don't have anything on that head of yours which is very bad to begin with. Though I understand how difficult it is to write a post but instead of recycling, it will be better you don't even post anything than to recycle.

After @mistural took her time to explain the markdowns for we the newbies on her post, I found out that to make my post a lot more attractive and neat, I needed to add somethings which I didn't know not until I read the guidelines on markdown. It has really helped me in creating my post and I no longer find it difficult to put the markdown in order make my work look neat.

So far the markdowns has helped me in making my article look so beautiful and creative and I'm so happy for that. Like they say ***"learning is a continuous process"*** I will continue to learn from people who are will to teach positive things to me.</div>
