The world has many mysteries, and as many weird and unknown animals .
Most of us do not know the variety of animal species on Earth today, and all the time surprising discoveries are made.
With a long list of unknown weird looking animals, I chose a few that really tickled my interest.
Aye-Aye
the largest nocturnal primate, with a cute ,furry gremlin face, with rodent like teeth, and long crypt style fingers. Legends have it that they are keeper of evil and death, and need to be killed on sight!

Dumbo Octupus
This Octopus has webbed tentacles that look like an umbrella, with fins that look like giant prominent ears, jutting out just above their eyes.( Dumbo the elephant)

Maned Wolf.
It has a long russet colored furry coat, with extraordinary long legs. It is neither fox nor Wolf, but the only one left of the species Crysocyon.

Pink Fairy Armadillo
Smallest of the Armadillo family with an attractive pink armor to keep it safe.

Tufted Deer.
Also called tufted water deer. They are proficient swimmers, with long canines protruding from of their mouths. The canine husks can be pulled back,by using facial muscles.

Star nosed Mole.
Twenty two pink fleshy appendages rings its snout, and is used as a touch organ, and can detect any slight tremors or movements.
Panda Ant.
This strange insect is part of the wasp and has a very dangerous sting.

Ghost shark.
This creature looks like something from a science fiction movie.
It is a silvery white animal, with large green eyes, a projection from the snout that serves to search for prey. It has three pairs of hypermineralized teeth plates.

Thorny dragon or devil
The only surviving of the sole species of genus Moloch.
they are brownish colored and can change color depending on the seasons. lighter in summer and darker in winter. their bodies are covered with conical spines that are not calcified
Yeti crab.
Unusual and fairly unknown till 20t h century, it is an usual hairy crab, with no eyes. The legs and claws are covered with silky blond setae (fur).

Red lipped Bat Fish.
This is one of the weirdest looking fish it has a mouth that seems to be too big for it's body, drooping red lips that looks like a pair of Sizzles melting in the sun !

There are many more interesting and weird creations on earth, and and I am sure more will be found as research develops.
