 Has it really been 3 weeks since I created this account? Wow, where has the time went?! I've been meaning to create a post sooner, but I've been so busy lately that I just haven't found the time to do so. First things first, I'm in the middle of moving. After living where I've lived for almost two years now I've decided to move. It wasn't an easy decision at all and it could be one that I regret down the road, but for now I think it's best for me. If all goes well though, in a year I'll have bought my first ever piece of land which will be HUGE for me. I've never really had a place that I could really call "home". Sure, I've had my own apartments and my own places, but I always knew that I'd move eventually and that wherever I stayed would really only be temporary. Even with moving now, I know this. I don't need a big piece of land, but just one big enough to put a small house on. Plus, having a small piece of land will not only be cheaper to buy, but should also be cheaper each year for property taxes. I plan on paying cash as well because I'm trying to eliminate bills altogether if I can. Speaking of bills and stuff, the next goal after that is to put a tiny house on my land and within the next 5 years my goals will to be to put solar panels on my roof so that I don't have to pay an electric bill and to dig a well so that I don't have to pay a water bill. No one in my immediate family has a paid off piece of land or a house, so it'll be nice to finally feel like I've overcome the odds and "made it" in life. I don't currently have a job though or even a car so how do I plan on doing all this? Well simply, investing. If we're getting more specific, I've bought some trading cards and I plan on having them sent off to be graded. Once I get those cards back next year and sold, I should have earned at least enough to buy a tiny plot of land. I'd like to get an acre or so of land, but I'm not super picky. If I'm lucky, I'll have enough to buy a cheap piece of land as well as a cheap car and maybe even enough to reinvest again. If I can reinvest again, that money will go towards my future tiny house. I've been so busy keeping up with card prices, looking at plots of land, looking at tiny houses, looking at local zoning regulations, looking at solar panel kits and various other expenses with housing and upgrades, and of course... moving. It's a lot of research to do! That's it though, that's what I've been up to. Sorry for being gone so long, I'll try to keep everyone more updated and try to write articles a little more frequently. No promises, but I'll try :)
