Runt Odel was not sure what was happening. 

Things seemed to have no rhyme or reason.  Townsfolk she thought she knew well had disappeared from view.  Ren du Lot, for instance, did not come to his door when she went to protest his summoning her to court.  What could he be up to? 

Runt Odel thought it high time to go visit her old friends at *The Red Light Gazette* so she could brush up on the local gossip.  When she arrived, they were all abuzz over the most recent anonymous shitpost they’d received: **COUNT B LIES WITH FAIRIES AND BEGETS BUTTERFLIES.** Although it was not as Rabelaisian as the others, this shitpost would make the populace happy, since butterflies had been scarce of late. 

Runt Odel left the *Red Light Gazette* in a pensive mood. The big wedding was coming up and she still had no concrete plan for ruining it. As she walked, a lovely scrap of silk fabric floated her way, wrapping itself around her neck. She suddenly felt mighty, and began to sing in a beautiful voice that was not her own. 

Even more strangely, Runt Odel seemed to have disappeared; folks could hear her but not see her! 

Runt Odel was not sure what was happening.

This is my second installment to a growing body of loosely related works originated by @katharsisdrill and his character *Torundel the Shitposter*. Others who have joined in the fun, and their characters, are *Ren du Lot, the Shit Lawyer* by @vcelier, *Nordlute, the Shit Sysadmin* by @steevc, *Mort, The Shit Manager* by @slobberchops, and *Daphne the definitely not Dilettante* by @donnadavisart.

All of these stories are comprised of exactly 211 words, begin with the main character's name, and begin and end with the same sentence.

#### Definition of Shitpost
1. (noun) any content on the internet whose humor derives from its surreal nature and/or its lack of clear context. Differs from a meme: whereas a meme's humor comes from its repeatability, a shitpost is funny simply because it isn't a predictable repetition of an existing form. Shitposts can become memes, but memes cannot become shitposts.
2. (verb) to create such a post
