Tonight I was thinking a little about the World, who can make it a better place?

The answer I gave myself is that we ourselves can do it.

Let's start from further back, from the principle and from a fundamental axiom, We are human beings who live in a society, as such we can live happy and in any case quite serene or on the contrary often find ourselves in difficulty, pain and dissatisfaction.

At this point the question arises spontaneously:
What does our happiness or unhappiness depend on?
Maybe from some peculiar characteristics of our physique?
From the place where we are born? From the economic situation we have? From our character or perhaps from our health?

Personally I believe that well-being and malaise derive mainly from relationships and relationships with others: from those who love us, from those who oppress us, from those who govern us without taking into account our needs, our demands and our difficulties, from those who accept us for who we are and from those who don't accept us because we are different, from those who harass us, from those who don't respect us, from those who beat us, from a stranger who helps us and who doesn't help us when he could.

Of this entire list, my reflection focused on these last categories, the strangers who help us or who don't do it when they could.

The World can become a better World and we are the ones who can implement this evolution; to do this, however, you must be aware of your own power.

We can all make the lives of those around us good or bad, this of course also applies to strangers.

We must learn to consider strangers as human beings, it is essential if we want to do our part in improving.
Expecting that the world will improve because "someone" will make it better is a very naive thought; Let's start doing it ourselves and teach it to our children.

There are many small things that we could all do and which, added together, would create the wave of change, I am thinking for example of the small gestures of kindness that are often underestimated.

Sometimes we happen to meet people we don't know, perhaps at the supermarket for example, if we leave room for our human side, if we look at these people with the right eye we can certainly empathize and out of nowhere we could find ourselves chatting with someone who we do not know.

You should never underestimate those chats, maybe the other person really needed to talk to someone, a bit of human warmth and that brief exchange of words in the supermarket takes on great importance and value for him.

>This is also a way to change the world, you know?

There are many who think that we need to do who knows what undertaking to achieve real change, I admit that there are also great things that can be changed, but to get to the big one we always start from the small; many small actions add up to become a "tsunami" of change.

Well now I really have to say goodbye to you because it's very late and my family and I are practically leaving for Rome; today was a very strange day full of unexpected events, maybe I'll talk to you about it tomorrow when I have a bit of calm.

As always, thank you for reaching this point, let me know your thoughts and ideas on what I have written, as you know it always makes me very happy.

I don't know if you've seen the movie "chain of favors", I was fascinated by it; And I try to follow the example, it won't be like the movie, but when I can I do a favor for a stranger, and when they thank me, I tell them "do the same for a person who needs it."

It's something I do often, to have and leave a better world.

greetings
