Tonight I didn't sleep and, when it happens to me, I always find myself thinking and reflecting on many things; I reflect on life, on how this journey is going, on future goals and how to achieve them and of course I also reflect a bit on myself.

I thought: who am I inspired by in my life, who are my role models?

In reality, this question has a univocal answer in some ways but also many different answers for some others... the univocal answer is that, in general, for the values they have and that they have handed down to me, I am inspired by my Mother and to my father.
Then of course as regards success at work, personal growth and self-development I draw a little here and there.

I take inspiration from my parents, for example as regards the family; the one I lived in was beautiful, full of love and the one I formed with Reny I wish could look like him; I'm not saying it should be the same because we're different people, but I'd like it to at least come close.

In the rest of the things I draw on the sources of knowledge... which fortunately today are many to be honest.
I've always been a football lover so if I had to think of some footballer who inspires me I would say Alex Del Piero for his style, for knowing how to be a silent leader and man inside and outside the locker room; I could say Cristiano Ronaldo for his dedication to work and because he is the demonstration that application, work and commitment can far outweigh talent; I could say Messi, because he has talent more than anyone but it is a demonstration of how it is valued and not wasted.
According to many, the greatest is missing from this list, if we talk about talent, everyone would have said Maradona but, for me, he is the anti-example par excellence; is the demonstration of how talent can be wasted and also of how a life can be wasted, of how one can live in vice, in recklessness, of how destructive the ego can be and even unsportsmanlike (if we think of the hand of Dios ... feeling like a Dios then when you're just tiny, huh?!) I wouldn't suggest it to anyone as an example just because he knew how to juggle with an orange... jugglers in the circus do that too.

Obviously I'm not only inspired by footballers, actually growing up they're one of the categories I've discarded; however, I follow many other people; as an investor I have read, studied and tried to understand everything that Warren Buffet has done; I've read all of Robert Kiyosaki's books and now I'm really interested in Dan Kennedy (although maybe that's where we enter the marketing field).

As a man of peace and love, which I feel, my first references are Gandhi and Mother Teresa of Calcutta and I also read a lot about them.
I am also very fond of Mother Teresa, even if I am not a great believer; you must know that my wife was held in her arms as soon as she arrived in the orphanage and it was precisely her nuns of her order who brought her here to Italy at the age of one year.

As far as personal growth is concerned, among the Italians, I really like Filippo Ongaro and I follow him; I devoured all the material that passed under the eyes of Tony Robbins; however, since this is the field that fascinates me the most, I have really read and watched videos of many really interesting authors, motivators and coaches.

In the end, who inspires me?
In reality I am inspired by everyone and no one, in the sense that I try to take the best of each person who can be taken as an example and then no one because I make my teachings and perhaps transform them into something different, something that serves me, it makes my person grow but maybe it wouldn't work with others.
It's nice to be inspired to have information sometimes helps us in our path; it prevents us from making mistakes that have already been made, allowing us to make others, but I believe that then everyone has to go their own way and reason with their own head.

At the end of these reflections of mine, speaking of my head, I had a big circle because, as usual, it was four o'clock and as a consequence... today too we sleep tomorrow heh heh!
