I was reflecting a bit on ways to relax and, finally, I got to the point, to discover that I have so many! [ Original im src](https://pixabay.com/es/photos/ciudad-hombre-persona-solo-ventana-1868530/)

Work days are always quite intense, tiredness is not so much physical as mental so it's important to be able to switch off and relax in the evening, when your tasks are finished.

The thing that certainly relaxes me the most is a nice dinner with my wife with a movie on the sofa attached (maybe eat on the sofa while we watch the movie, the best!), nothing too pretentious, maybe a comedy to laugh about and exchange a few jokes ; it's a way to spend some time together which, in reality, the thing that relaxes me the most, I don't think is the act of vending or watching the film, what reassures me is spending time with Reny.

I also have tons of other ways to relax that are all on the same level, let's say it depends a bit on the day; sometimes I'm in the studio with background music and I look out the window, I reflect or rather I let my thoughts flow free and, I confess, this thing calms me down a lot.

I'm also a video game lover, actually I only like one genre, the managerial ones and mainly the whole Football Manager saga; every year my wife gives me the new understood for Christmas so yes, I admit it, sometimes to distract myself and have fun I play the role of the coach of my beloved Reggina... even dreaming relaxes a lot, don't you think?

On Sunday afternoon, one thing that helps me switch off my mind and really amuses me is going shopping; it may seem strange I know, but for me it is like this, I could spend hours wandering the aisles of the supermarket looking at all types of products... then maybe we just buy a pack of pasta and a pack of tuna, or maybe we're here went simply because there was no milk in the pantry; the purchase is not the fundamental thing.

My ways of resting also vary according to the seasons, for example, in the summer I love being in the garden lying in the sun reading a good book; during this season the thing I like the most, probably, is taking a bath in our fabulous Jacuzzi, which is always in the garden.
This is a habit I have every day from late April to late September; in the early afternoon, before starting work and in the evening, just before going to sleep, I spend at least a quarter of an hour in the hot tub... once I get out of there I feel regenerated!

Well, in the end, I believe that I have many ways to relax and my reflection, as usual, has led me on other paths than the starting ones; I was thinking a bit about what was my favorite way to recover strength and switch off my brain and I came to the conclusion that I have many ways to relax and everyone can be my favorite depending on the moment or maybe the season.
What I certainly know, at the end of my new frenzy of thoughts, is that relaxation is important and you need to know how to take moments of leisure and detachment to be 110% productive.

One of the last things that came to my mind is that, apart from the initial costs to purchase the hydromassage pool, effectively all the ways I have to relax are practically free or almost free; therefore, in the end, it is not necessary to do anything expensive or exaggerated to recharge the battery, the thing that is necessary however ... is to do something to unplug it, which I believe is as important as concentrating during working hours.
