The First Day of School and a Spirited Monday Ceremony

Monday morning, July 14, 2025, the air was still fresh as the sun shone on the schoolyard, already bustling with students. It was the **first day of school for the 2025/2026 school year**, and as has long been the tradition, the event began with a solemn **flag ceremony**.

In the schoolyard, students stood neatly in rows, wearing clean, neat, white-blue-and-white-gray uniforms. Teachers and school staff were also present, standing to the side of the line in their light brown uniforms.

Three female flag-raising officers were at the flagpole. They stood upright, serious, and carried out their duties with full responsibility. As the national anthem "Indonesia Raya" played, all participants stood respectfully. The red and white flag slowly rose, waving proudly under the bright morning sky, evoking the renewed enthusiasm of the entire school community.

After the flag-raising, the ceremony continued with a speech by the principal. In his remarks, he warmly welcomed new and returning students, motivated them to study harder, and reminded them of the importance of discipline and cooperation. He also emphasized the importance of upholding the values of Pancasila and upholding the school's good name.

The ceremony officers, all senior students, performed their duties neatly and confidently. Meanwhile, the students lined up in an orderly fashion, with some showing enthusiasm, as this was their first time participating in a ceremony as new students.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the teachers gave brief instructions, and the students were directed to their respective classrooms to begin lessons and to be assigned their study schedules.

That day was not only the beginning of a new school year, but also a moment of togetherness and renewed enthusiasm for the entire school community as they took steps toward a brighter future.
