I am considering starting my own Blockchain Project.

The Idea behind it is to create an Off-The-Grid Digital Data Network or multiple off-grid smaller networks.

At this moment the Internet is Controlled by Providers. It can be Censored, Manipulated or just Completely Shut Down if Governments would Decide to Do so.

With an Off Grid Network, Shutting Down Is Impossible. :-)

Based on so-called "Mesh Networking" it should be possible to setup Local Networks, that can be interconnected to Other local networks, that could theoretically completely Span the Globe, Without the need for Centralized Infrastructure.

All you would need are "Internet of Things" stuff like Smartphones and Laptops, eventually completed with Strong Moveable Transmitters between the Local Networks.

You could use this concept to build Local Economies or Local Management, for Local Companies or Local Communities, that would become more Independent from Centralized Institutions.

Though Dan Larimer has created huge things, I don't always agree with his philosophies and solutions.
It suffices to look at Steemit and all its (incurable?) flaws that everybody here is aware off, to know what I mean.

My own 'philosophy' behind the inner workings of this New Concept isn't clear either and maybe I may lack the education to even develop its basic principles. But for now that's just an open question :-)

Other big problem for me is that I don't understand much of software programming besides a bit of tinkering with "BASIC, html and javascript" :-)

So, other besides a few vague concepts I have nothing ready or tried out yet.

Maybe somebody else or a team of people may have already come up with the same thing. I don't know.

But I Think it would be Cool to Design something Completely New that is NOT Based on the Ginormous Greed and Capitalism that looks to be Inherent in Dan Larimer's projects.
Mine would be primarily based on the Idea of Community and Cooperation and Selfsustainability, not on concepts that lead to Elitism and extreme cases of Brown Nosing.

I am not very sure however if all these initiatives are what they REALLY are. Some of them or those like these that may come could well be new kinds of Elites sponsored "Soft Power" instruments, engineered to "spread the (carefully doctored) 'benefits' of the internet to the poor people" of this planet. If you would see a sponsor of these initiatives that would carry words as "democracy", "freedom", "global", "diversity", "aid", "human", values" etc. Be Aware! Some of them might also be just Emo-Scams!

My Intention would be to be Disruptive in stead of "bringing everything and everybody together". So in that aspect I think I stand closer to Dan than the teams mentioned above.
